We recognise that the journey of writing can be long and challenging. By acknowledging the challenges and celebrating the successes of the writing journey, the festival helps to build a supportive community of writers who can inspire and encourage one another. Through discussions about the writing process, the festival provides a space for writers to share their experiences and learn from one another. Our Main purpose is to bring opportunity for writers and industry professionals to network and build relationships. By attending the festival, writers can connect with other writers, editors, agents, and publishers, which can lead to new opportunities and collaborations. Networking is an important aspect of the writing industry, and the festival provides a space for writers to expand their networks.
The festival grants aspiring writers with the skills, knowledge, and inspiration they need to start their writing journey. By offering guidance and support to emerging writers, the festival is helping to foster the next generation of literary talent. By engaging with literature that challenges our assumptions and expands our understanding of the world, we can broaden our minds and deepen our empathy.
