The North East Film Festival 2023, Mumbai is being organized by the Sikkim Film Board In Association with Find Studioz an effort to promote the content creators from North Eastern (NE) States of India. Supported by National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) the festival is being organized in Mumbai with an aim to give maximum exposure to the creative talents of the North-Eastern States to the mainstream Industry. Mumbai being the entertainment hub of the country, some of the biggest stakeholders of the Industry will be called to participate in this festival.

The festival aims to work towards the supporting and promoting of films across genres, cultures and languages of the North Eastern Region with a vision of connecting the creative talents of the region to the mainstream industry and promoting the North East both in terms of the scenic geographical beauty and content. This will attract the filmmakers to not only shoot in the region but also adapt more stories from the region as content.
