The listing that opens is that section&rsquo;s archive &mdash; every story filed under it, newest first.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Select <strong>POLITICS<\/strong> in the top menu.<\/li>\n<li>Look at the menu itself: the section you are reading is picked out in blue, so the menu doubles as your trail marker.<\/li>\n<li>Look at the heading below it. It reads <strong>CATEGORY: POLITICS<\/strong> &mdash; the page naming, in plain words, exactly where you have landed.<\/li>\n<li>Down the right-hand side you get the section&rsquo;s companions: social links, a search box (ringed in the picture) and a <strong>Recent posts<\/strong> list. The stories move, the sidebar moves, the section heading scrolls away &mdash; but the menu bar does not. Keep scrolling to the very foot of the listing, past the last story card, and you will find the page strip &mdash; a short row of page numbers with a link to the next page.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Scroll to the bottom of the listing.<\/li>\n<li>Choose <strong>2<\/strong>, or the next-page arrow beside it, in the page strip.<\/li>\n<li>The section reloads at the top of page two. Because you are back at the top, the full header returns &mdash; the top-stories ticker, the section menu and the masthead row all in view again.<\/li>\n<li>Read on. Politics stops at two &mdash; so you can see the whole archive in two screenfuls of scrolling.<\/div>\n<h2>Troubleshooting<\/h2>\n<h3>There are no page numbers at the foot of the listing<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> the page strip only appears when a section holds more stories than one page can show. A quieter section fits on a single page and has nothing to page through. <strong>Fix:<\/strong> scroll right to the bottom of the listing, past the final story card and the sidebar, and check again &mdash; the strip sits below everything else. If there is genuinely no strip, you have already reached the end of that section. <strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> you know the section has far more stories than the single page is showing.<\/p>\n<h3>I have lost track of which section I am reading<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> you followed a story out of the listing, or arrived from a search or a shared link, so you never saw the section heading. <strong>Fix:<\/strong> look at the pinned menu across the top &mdash; the section you are in is picked out in colour. Selecting that name takes you to the full listing for it. <strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> the highlighted section does not match the stories on the page.<\/p>\n<h3>Choosing page 2 sends me back to the top of the screen<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> this is how paging works, not a fault. Each page number opens a fresh page of the section, and a fresh page begins at the top &mdash; which is why the full header reappears. <strong>Fix:<\/strong> nothing to do; scroll down and carry on. Use your browser&rsquo;s back button to return to where you were on the previous page. <strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> the page number in the address changes but the stories underneath stay the same.<\/p>\n<h3>Bookmark asks me to sign in<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> reading Utsav Times is open to everyone, but bookmarks are saved to your account, so that button needs you signed in. <strong>Fix:<\/strong> sign in to your MyMahotsav account and select <strong>Bookmark<\/strong> again.
