Every role you have applied for is listed there with the date you applied, the status the organisation has set, and the message you sent with your application. This matters when you are tracking applications, because it is the resume an organisation opens when they look at you. A resume shown as <strong>(Pending Review)<\/strong> under the name has not finished being checked yet. The title is a link, so you can open the original listing again.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Date Applied<\/strong> &mdash; the day your application was received.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Status<\/strong> &mdash; where the application has got to, for example <strong>Interviewed<\/strong>. It is set by the organisation that posted the role as they work through their applicants, so a change there is a real signal &mdash; it does not update on a timer, and nothing you do on this page will move it.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to chase an application, work from the row itself:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Read the <strong>Status<\/strong> and the <strong>Date Applied<\/strong> together, so you know how long the application has been sitting at its current stage.<\/li>\n<li>Click the role name in the <strong>Job<\/strong> column to reopen the original listing.<\/li>\n<li>Use the contact route the organisation published on that listing. Every organisation words this differently, so follow what their own listing says.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div style=\"background:#f4f6f8;border-left:4px solid #9aa4b2;border-radius:8px;padding:14px 18px;margin:22px 0;line-height:1.6;\">&#8505;&#65039; <strong>Note<\/strong><br \/>If the role name in the <strong>Job<\/strong> column no longer opens a listing, the organisation has taken it down. Your row stays on your dashboard as a record, but there is nowhere left to follow up.<\/div>\n<h2>Withdrawing an application you no longer want<\/h2>\n<p>There is no self-service withdraw button. Your Candidate Dashboard reports on your applications; it cannot cancel one, and the rows cannot be removed by you.<\/p>\n<p>To withdraw, contact the organisation that posted the role and ask them to withdraw your application &mdash; open the listing from the <strong>Job<\/strong> column and use the contact route given there. Say clearly which role you mean and the date you applied, both of which you can copy straight from your dashboard row. If you cannot reach them, or the listing has gone, contact MyMahotsav support with the same two details and we will help.<\/p>\n<h2>Tips and best practices<\/h2>\n<div style=\"background:#eef8f0;border-left:4px solid #2e9e5b;border-radius:8px;padding:14px 18px;margin:22px 0;line-height:1.6;\">&#127919; <strong>Best practice<\/strong><br \/>Read your <strong>Application Message<\/strong> back once, the first time a row appears. It is saved exactly as you typed it, typos and all, and it is what the organisation reads &mdash; so let it teach you to slow down on the next application, since you cannot rewrite this one.<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Always apply while signed in. An application sent signed out is not attached to your account and will never appear on your dashboard.<\/li>\n<li>Check the dashboard weekly rather than daily. Statuses move when a real person reviews applicants, not on a schedule.<\/li>\n<li>Keep your resume list tidy. The resumes at the top of the page are what an organisation opens, so retire anything out of date before you apply for something new.<\/li>\n<li>Bookmarks are saved from a role&rsquo;s own page, not from here &mdash; this dashboard only displays them. An empty bookmarks table simply means you have not saved any roles yet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"background:#fff6f1;border-left:4px solid #e0592b;border-radius:8px;padding:14px 18px;margin:22px 0;line-height:1.6;\">&#128161; <strong>Tip<\/strong><br \/>Bookmark the dashboard link itself in your browser. It is the fastest route back, and it lands you on the page rather than in the menus.<\/div>\n<h2>Troubleshooting<\/h2>\n<h3>A sign-in box appears instead of the dashboard<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> you are signed out, or your session has expired.<br \/><strong>Fix:<\/strong> sign in with the account you applied from, then open the dashboard link again. If you have more than one account, it must be the one that sent the applications.<br \/><strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> you are signed in, your name shows in the account menu, and the page still asks you to sign in.<\/p>\n<h3>Previously Applied Jobs is empty, but you know you applied<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> the application was sent from a different account, or while signed out, or it never completed on the listing page.<br \/><strong>Fix:<\/strong> confirm which account you are in, then reopen the role and check whether the application form was actually submitted. If it was not, apply again from the listing page.<br \/><strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> you have an application confirmation but no row appears here.<\/p>\n<h3>The status has not changed for weeks<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> the status only moves when the organisation updates it. Nothing changes it automatically.<br \/><strong>Fix:<\/strong> open the role from the <strong>Job<\/strong> column, check the listing is still open, and follow up using the contact route on it.<br \/><strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> the listing has been taken down after you were interviewed and you have had no answer.<\/p>\n<h3>There is no button to withdraw or delete an application<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> that is how the table is built &mdash; it is a read-only record of what you sent.<br \/><strong>Fix:<\/strong> ask the organisation to withdraw your application, as described above.<br \/><strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> you need an application withdrawn urgently and the organisation is not responding.<\/p>\n<h2>FAQ<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Q: Where do I see everything I have applied for?<\/strong><br \/>A: In the <strong>Previously Applied Jobs<\/strong> table at the bottom of your Candidate Dashboard. It lists every application made from your account, each with the date it was sent.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: Who changes the status of my application?<\/strong><br \/>A: The organisation that posted the role. They update it as they work through their applicants, so the <strong>Status<\/strong> column is genuinely their word on where you stand.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: Can I edit the message I sent with an application?<\/strong><br \/>A: No. The <strong>Application Message<\/strong> is stored as you submitted it and cannot be changed afterwards.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: Can I withdraw an application myself?<\/strong><br \/>A: Not from the dashboard &mdash; there is no withdraw control on it. Contact the organisation through their listing and ask them to withdraw you, or ask support to help.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: Why is my bookmarks list empty when I have saved roles before?<\/strong><br \/>A: Bookmarks are saved from a role&rsquo;s own page. If the table says you have no bookmarks, none were saved from this account &mdash; go back to the role and save it there.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: Do I need a resume on my dashboard to apply for a role?<\/strong><br \/>A: Your resumes and your applications are separate lists on the same page.
