They show you exactly where on the page the apply area sits, and the steps describe the form as it appears on a role that is still open.<\/div>\n<h2>Step 1 &mdash; Open the role you want to apply for<\/h2>\n<p>From <strong>Open Roles<\/strong>, click the job title to open its own listing page. Read the summary line under the title before anything else &mdash; it tells you whether you can still apply:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The working location, for example <strong>Remote<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>When the role was posted.<\/li>\n<li>The status. An open role shows nothing here; a closed one says <strong>This position has been filled<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Closes<\/strong> date, which is the last day the hirer will accept applications.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The apply area sits in the panel directly beneath that summary line. On an open role, that panel holds the <strong>Apply for job<\/strong> button. The application panel opens in place on the same page &mdash; nothing loads in a new tab and you do not lose the job description, so you can keep referring to it while you write.<\/p>\n<p>The panel asks for two things. The first is <strong>Message<\/strong>, a formatted text box that acts as your covering letter. Choose the file from your device &mdash; you attach it fresh each time you apply, so it is worth keeping a current copy somewhere easy to reach on your phone or laptop.<\/p>\n<p>Read your message through once, then click <strong>Apply for job<\/strong> to send it. The application goes to the hirer, who reviews it in their own hiring dashboard and replies by email to the address on your MyMahotsav account. It gives you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Keywords<\/strong> and <strong>Location<\/strong> boxes, plus a category chooser and the <strong>Search Jobs<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<li>A <strong>Remote positions only<\/strong> tick box, for roles you can do from anywhere.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Filter by tag<\/strong> chips such as <strong>kitchen volunteer<\/strong>, <strong>seva<\/strong> and <strong>langar<\/strong>.
