You can only edit a listing that sits on your own account.<\/div>\n<h2>Quick answer<\/h2>\n<p><strong>All of your venue&rsquo;s media lives on a single panel. Open your Host Dashboard, go to My Listings, click the pencil icon on the listing you want to change, then open the Images tab. The panel headed Listing Media is where you upload and reorder your photos, choose the featured one, add a video tour by its ID and paste in a virtual tour embed. If a sign-in box appears instead of your listings, you are not signed in.<\/li>\n<li>You need a listing that already exists on your account. The edit screen only opens for the owner of a listing.<\/li>\n<li>Photos are added <strong>after<\/strong> a listing is created, never during it &mdash; the first step of Add New Listing asks only for the name, description, category and city. So create the listing first, then come back for the media.<\/li>\n<li>Have your photos ready on the device you are working from. On a phone the header collapses into a menu button &mdash; if you cannot find the entry there, the direct address above takes you straight in.<\/div>\n<h2>Step 1 &mdash; Sign in before you go looking for the panel<\/h2>\n<p>This step is worth doing first, because Utsav Venues does not tell you off for skipping it &mdash; it simply shows you the public home page instead. Signed out, the header offers you <strong>Login<\/strong> and <strong>Register<\/strong> and nothing else. Hovering over it shows the label <strong>Edit property<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The pencil opens the listing on its <strong>Description<\/strong> tab. That is the right place to have landed &mdash; the media panel is one click away.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 3 &mdash; Switch to the Images tab<\/h2>\n<p>Along the top of the edit screen is a row of tabs: <strong>Description<\/strong>, <strong>Price<\/strong>, <strong>Images<\/strong>, <strong>Details<\/strong>, <strong>Location<\/strong>, <strong>Amenities<\/strong> and <strong>Calendar<\/strong>. Click <strong>Images<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The panel that opens is headed <strong>Listing Media<\/strong>. Despite the tab&rsquo;s name, this one panel holds all three kinds of media &mdash; your photo gallery, your video tour and your virtual tour &mdash; and a single <strong>Save<\/strong> button at the bottom saves the lot.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 4 &mdash; Upload your photos<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Drag your image files onto the upload area marked <strong>Drag and Drop Images<\/strong>, or click <strong>Select Media<\/strong> to browse your device.<\/li>\n<li>Wait for each thumbnail to appear in the panel before adding more.<\/li>\n<li>To remove a photo, click the small bin icon on its thumbnail.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>There is no cap set on how many photos a venue listing can hold, so add as many as genuinely help an enquirer picture the space. This area takes images only &mdash; see the FAQ below if you were hoping to attach a document.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 5 &mdash; Choose the featured photo and set the running order<\/h2>\n<p>Two small controls do the work here, and both are easy to miss:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>To set the featured photo<\/strong>, double-click its thumbnail. A star appears on the one that is currently featured. This is the photo that leads your listing and fronts your card wherever the venue is shown around the marketplace, so make it your strongest wide shot.<\/li>\n<li><strong>To reorder the gallery<\/strong>, drag the thumbnails into the order you want. The panel itself reminds you of both, in the small print beneath the thumbnails: &ldquo;Double click on the image to select featured&rdquo; and &ldquo;Change images order with Drag &amp; Drop&rdquo;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Step 6 &mdash; Add your video tour<\/h2>\n<p>Below the photos sit two small fields that work as a pair:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In <strong>Video from<\/strong>, choose the host your video sits on. Two are supported: <strong>youtube<\/strong> and <strong>vimeo<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In <strong>Video id:<\/strong>, type the video&rsquo;s ID &mdash; <strong>not<\/strong> its full web address. The ID is the short code at the end of the video&rsquo;s link.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>You cannot upload a video file to the listing itself. Publish your walkthrough on one of the two supported hosts first, then point the listing at it.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 7 &mdash; Add a 360&deg; virtual tour<\/h2>\n<p>Next to the video fields is a larger box labelled <strong>Virtual Tour. Copy\/paste the iframe code.<\/strong> That label is also the instruction:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In your virtual tour provider&rsquo;s own tools, find the share or embed option and copy the <strong>iframe<\/strong> embed code.<\/li>\n<li>Paste it into the Virtual Tour box exactly as given.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>There is no separate switch to turn a virtual tour on. Pasting a valid embed and saving is what enables it; clearing the box again is what removes it. For safety, the box keeps only a plain embed &mdash; if your provider&rsquo;s snippet carries any scripts alongside the iframe, those are stripped out when you save.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 8 &mdash; Save<\/h2>\n<p>Click <strong>Save<\/strong> at the foot of the panel. Nothing you have changed on this tab &mdash; photos, order, featured star, video or virtual tour &mdash; is stored until you do.<\/p>\n<p>Beside the button is a link reading <strong>Go to Details settings.<\/strong>, which carries you on to the next part of the listing. Save first, then follow it if you want to keep editing.<\/p>\n<h2>Where your media turns up once it is saved<\/h2>\n<p>It helps to know what all this effort is actually feeding. Every card and banner on the marketplace is wider than it is tall, so upright photos get cropped hard.<\/li>\n<li>Lead with the space itself, empty and well lit. Save the dressed-for-an-event shots for further down the gallery &mdash; they are lovely, but an enquirer needs to judge the room first.<\/li>\n<li>Put the gallery in the order someone would walk through the venue: approach, entrance, main hall, then the side rooms, kitchen and parking.<\/li>\n<li>Give the same treatment to the video and the virtual tour that you give the photos. Utsav Venues will not show anyone&rsquo;s listings to a signed-out visitor.<br \/><strong>Fix:<\/strong> sign in on the main MyMahotsav site using the sign-in form, then open your account menu &rarr; <strong>Venue &amp; Space Selling<\/strong> &rarr; <strong>Host Dashboard<\/strong> and try again.<br \/><strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> you sign in successfully on the main site but the Venues pages still treat you as a guest.<\/p>\n<h3>You see &ldquo;You don&rsquo;t have the rights to edit this&rdquo;<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> the listing you have opened is not on your account. Only the owner of a listing can open its edit screen, so a bookmarked or shared address for someone else&rsquo;s venue will stop here.<br \/><strong>Fix:<\/strong> go back to <strong>My Listings<\/strong> on your own dashboard and open the venue from there with the pencil icon, rather than from a saved link.<br \/><strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> the listing genuinely is yours &mdash; it may be attached to a different account of yours, and support can check which.<\/p>\n<h3>Your video tour does not show on the listing<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> almost always the whole web address has been pasted into <strong>Video id:<\/strong>, or <strong>Video from<\/strong> is set to the wrong host.<br \/><strong>Fix:<\/strong> put only the ID in the ID field &mdash; the short code from the end of the link, with no https, no domain and nothing after it &mdash; check that <strong>Video from<\/strong> matches where the video actually lives, and press <strong>Save<\/strong> again.<br \/><strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> the ID and host are both right, the video plays fine on its own site, and the listing still shows nothing.<\/p>\n<h3>Your virtual tour box looks empty after saving<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> the code you pasted was not a plain iframe embed. Anything beyond a simple embed &mdash; scripts especially &mdash; is stripped out when the panel saves, which can leave the box looking blank.<br \/><strong>Fix:<\/strong> go back to your tour provider and copy the option described as an <strong>iframe<\/strong> or <strong>embed<\/strong> code, paste that in on its own, and save.<br \/><strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> your provider only offers a script-based embed, as that cannot be used here.<\/p>\n<h2>FAQ<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Q: How do I reorder my listing&rsquo;s photo gallery?<\/strong><br \/>A: Drag the thumbnails on the Images tab into the order you want, then press <strong>Save<\/strong>. Canonical facts: all three media types live on ONE member-facing panel headed &#8220;Listing Media&#8221; on the Images tab; the tab strip is Description, Price, Images, Details, Location, Amenities, Calendar; photos are uploaded by drag-and-drop or the &#8220;Select Media&#8221; button; double-click a thumbnail to set the featured photo (marked with a star), drag thumbnails to reorder, bin icon to delete; no limit is currently set on the number of photos; video is a &#8220;Video from&#8221; host choice of youtube or vimeo plus a &#8220;Video id:&#8221; field that takes the ID only and NOT a full URL, and no video file can be uploaded; the virtual tour is a textarea labelled &#8220;Virtual Tour. Copy\/paste the iframe code.&#8221; which accepts a plain iframe embed only and strips scripts, with no separate on\/off switch; everything is saved by the &#8220;Save&#8221; button, beside which sits a &#8220;Go to Details settings.&#8221; link; there is NO document or brochure PDF upload on this panel and the gallery displays images only, so a floor plan should be uploaded as an image; media cannot be added while first creating a listing because step one collects only name, description, category and city; only the owner of a listing can open its edit screen and a non-owner sees &#8220;You don&#8217;t have the rights to edit this&#8221;; signed-out visitors see the public Utsav Venues home page with only Login and Register.
