The dates then stop being available for anyone else to request, and your reservation row changes from Waiting to Confirmed &mdash; or Confirmed &amp; Paid once nothing is left to pay. The menu entry says &ldquo;Host&rdquo;, but it opens for any signed-in member &mdash; you do not have to be a venue owner.<\/li>\n<li>The direct address is <strong>https:\/\/mymahotsav.com\/utsav-venues\/my-reservations\/<\/strong>. It is the fastest way to settle any question about when the booking tipped over into confirmed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Step 1 &mdash; Open My Reservations and find the booking<\/h2>\n<p><strong>My Reservations<\/strong> lists the requests <strong>you<\/strong> made. It is a different screen from <strong>My Bookings<\/strong>, which owners use for requests received on their own listings &mdash; if you see requests from other people, you are on the owner screen.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Sign in to MyMahotsav.<\/li>\n<li>Open the profile dropdown and choose <strong>Venue &amp; Space Selling<\/strong> &rarr; <strong>Host Dashboard<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>My Reservations<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Find your booking in the list. A search box above the list lets you filter by the venue&rsquo;s name when you have several.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Each row shows the venue, the status, the dates your request covers, and who made the request. The dates shown are a record of what you asked for &mdash; they are text, not a field you can edit.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 2 &mdash; Read the status<\/h2>\n<p>The status word on the row is the single most reliable answer to &ldquo;is my booking confirmed?&rdquo;. There are four:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Request Pending<\/strong> &mdash; your request has gone to the owner, who has not acted on it yet. Nothing is held and nothing has been charged.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Waiting<\/strong> &mdash; the owner has accepted and raised your invoice. The next move is yours: the row offers <strong>Invoice Created &#8211; Check &amp; Pay<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Confirmed<\/strong> &mdash; your payment has landed. This is the milestone this guide is about.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Confirmed &amp; Paid<\/strong> &mdash; the same thing with nothing left outstanding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So confirmation is not an extra approval step after the owner accepts. The owner&rsquo;s acceptance produces the invoice; <strong>your payment produces the confirmation<\/strong>. A booking can sit at <strong>Waiting<\/strong> for days simply because the invoice has not been paid.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background:#f4f6f8;border-left:4px solid #9aa4b2;border-radius:8px;padding:14px 18px;margin:22px 0;line-height:1.6;\">&#8505;&#65039; <strong>Note<\/strong><br \/>Once a booking reaches <strong>Confirmed<\/strong>, the <strong>Cancel Booking Request<\/strong> button is no longer shown on the row. You can cancel your own request while it is still <strong>Request Pending<\/strong> or <strong>Waiting<\/strong>, but a confirmed booking cannot be cancelled by you &mdash; you have to speak to the owner. Make sure your dates are right before you pay.<\/div>\n<h2>Step 3 &mdash; Settle anything still owing<\/h2>\n<p>A deposit is enough to confirm a booking, so <strong>Confirmed<\/strong> often means &ldquo;part paid&rdquo;. While a balance remains, the row carries <strong>Pay Invoice in Full<\/strong>. Select it to clear the rest. When nothing is outstanding the button disappears and the status reads <strong>Confirmed &amp; Paid<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>If the button is missing and the status is still <strong>Confirmed<\/strong> rather than <strong>Confirmed &amp; Paid<\/strong>, check the invoice before assuming there is more to pay &mdash; a payment that has been taken but not yet recorded looks the same from the outside.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 4 &mdash; Open Invoice Details for your paperwork<\/h2>\n<p>Select <strong>Invoice Details<\/strong> on the reservation row. The invoice opens on the row itself, so there is no separate billing page to hunt for &mdash; and no billing tab in the menu for ordinary members. This is where you check what was charged, what it covered, and what remains.<\/p>\n<p>Save or print it now, alongside the payment receipt from your bank or payment provider. Between them they prove both halves of the confirmation: that you paid, and what the owner invoiced you for.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 5 &mdash; Check the booking details are right<\/h2>\n<p>Select <strong>Trip Details<\/strong> on the row to review what the booking actually holds: the dates, the number of guests you gave, and the notes that travelled with your request.<\/p>\n<p>Read it carefully the day your booking is confirmed. There is no control anywhere on this screen for changing dates after the fact &mdash; at any status. If something is wrong, the fix is a conversation with the owner, which is Step 6.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 6 &mdash; Contact the owner about event-day logistics<\/h2>\n<p>Select <strong>Contact Owner<\/strong> on the reservation row. This control sits on every row at every status, and once your booking is confirmed it is the part of the screen you will use most.<\/p>\n<p>Confirmation locks the dates; it does not settle how the day runs. Worth agreeing in writing, from the row, while everything is fresh:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Arrival and access &mdash; what time you can get in to set up, and who will meet you.<\/li>\n<li>What is included as standard and what needs arranging separately.<\/li>\n<li>Whether your suppliers, decorators or caterers can come in early, and where they should unload.<\/li>\n<li>Noise, timing or clearing-up conditions that apply on the day.<\/li>\n<li>A phone number to use on the day itself.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"background:#fff6f1;border-left:4px solid #e0592b;border-radius:8px;padding:14px 18px;margin:22px 0;line-height:1.6;\">&#128161; <strong>Tip<\/strong><br \/>Message the owner from the <strong>Contact Owner<\/strong> button on the reservation row, not from the venue&rsquo;s public page. The button on a public venue page sends a general enquiry by email and creates no reservation &mdash; so a message sent that way never attaches itself to the booking you already hold.<\/div>\n<h2>Step 7 &mdash; Leave a review after the event<\/h2>\n<p>A confirmed booking whose end date has passed is, in effect, a completed one. The only visible change is on the row: where the review control used to be a note telling you the review can be posted once the booking has finished, you will now find <strong>Post Review<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>If you look for it while your dates are still ahead of you, you will see that note instead. Nothing is wrong &mdash; the control unlocks on its own.<\/p>\n<h2>What confirmation does to the venue&rsquo;s calendar<\/h2>\n<p>When your booking is confirmed, the dates are marked as taken on that venue&rsquo;s availability calendar. Other members browsing the venue no longer see those dates as free to request, and the owner sees them blocked on their own calendar. You do not have to do anything to make this happen and there is no control for it on your side &mdash; it is simply what a confirmed booking means.<\/p>\n<p>This is also why the dates cannot be edited after the fact. The held dates belong to the confirmed booking, so changing them means releasing that booking and agreeing a new one with the owner.<\/p>\n<h2>What you see if you are not signed in<\/h2>\n<p>Your reservations are private, so the address for them behaves differently depending on whether you are signed in. Open it while signed out and Utsav Venues quietly hands you its public front page instead &mdash; the same page anyone browsing venues would land on. It is not an error and the address is not broken.<\/p>\n<p>The frames below are the public page as a signed-out visitor sees it. Note the <strong>Login<\/strong> and <strong>Register<\/strong> options at the top right of every one: that header is the giveaway. Cancellations, refunds and date changes on a confirmed booking are the owner&rsquo;s to agree, under whatever terms are published on the venue&rsquo;s own page. <strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> the owner does not reply, or you and the owner have agreed something but the booking has not changed.<\/p>\n<h3>I opened the address and got the Utsav Venues home page instead of my list<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> you are not signed in. Canonical facts: four member-visible statuses in order \u2014 Request Pending (sent, owner has not acted, nothing held or charged), Waiting (owner accepted, invoice raised, awaiting the member&#8217;s payment, row offers Invoice Created &#8211; Check &#038; Pay), Confirmed (payment received, usually the deposit, balance may remain), Confirmed &#038; Paid (nothing outstanding). Confirmation is triggered by the member&#8217;s payment reaching the owner, not by a second approval. Controls shown on a confirmed row: Pay Invoice in Full (only while a balance remains), Invoice Details (opens on the row itself), Trip Details, Contact Owner, and Post Review once the booking&#8217;s end date has passed (before that, a note says the review can be posted after the booking finishes). Cancel Booking Request is NOT shown once a booking is Confirmed or Confirmed &#038; Paid \u2014 a member cannot self-cancel a confirmed booking and must ask the owner. There is no date-editing control at any status; changing dates means cancelling and re-requesting. Confirmed dates are marked as taken on the venue&#8217;s availability calendar so other members cannot request them. My Reservations lists requests the member made and is open to any signed-in member; My Bookings is the separate owner-side screen for requests received on their own listings. Contact Owner appears on every reservation row at every status and is the correct route for messages about a live booking; the contact form on a public venue page sends a general email enquiry and creates no reservation.
