The direct address is <a href=\"https:\/\/mymahotsav.com\/utsav-venues\/add-new-listing\/\">https:\/\/mymahotsav.com\/utsav-venues\/add-new-listing\/<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The form opens before you sign in &mdash; but nothing is kept.<\/strong> The page itself carries the warning <em>&ldquo;You must Login \/ Register in the modal form that shows after you press the Continue button or else your data will be lost.&rdquo;<\/em> Sign in first if you can, so a stray refresh does not cost you your typing.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Have ready:<\/strong> the venue name you want guests to see, a few sentences about what makes the space special, the number of guests it seats, and the city plus the nearest listed area.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The price is not on this step.<\/strong> The form&rsquo;s red banner mentions <strong>Listing Price<\/strong>, but that field lives on the <strong>Price<\/strong> tab, which you reach after this step.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Describing is only one step of several.<\/strong> A listing is finished across a strip of tabs &mdash; Description, Price, Images, Details, Location, Amenities and Calendar &mdash; and each one saves on its own.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"background:#f4f6f8;border-left:4px solid #9aa4b2;border-radius:8px;padding:14px 18px;margin:22px 0;line-height:1.6;\">&#8505;&#65039; <strong>Note<\/strong><br \/>The marketplace decides which parts of the listing form are switched on, so you may not see every field described below. Work through the ones that are on your screen and ignore the rest.<\/div>\n<h2>Step 1 &mdash; Give your venue a title<\/h2>\n<p>The first step of the form is headed <strong>Description<\/strong>. Start in the <strong>Title<\/strong> box, ringed in the picture, and type the name guests should see. Write it the way you would say it aloud &mdash; the kind of space, and the place it is in. The ring is on <strong>Title<\/strong>, and the red banner lists what the form is still waiting for. <strong>Category<\/strong> and <strong>Listed In\/Room Type<\/strong> both start on <strong>None<\/strong>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Step 2 &mdash; Choose the Category and the Listed In\/Room Type<\/h2>\n<p>Under the heading <strong>Category and Listed In\/Room Type<\/strong> there are two dropdowns, and both must be changed from <strong>None<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Open <strong>Category<\/strong> and pick the kind of building or space &mdash; the list offers <strong>Apartment<\/strong>, <strong>B &amp; B<\/strong>, <strong>Cabin<\/strong>, <strong>Condos<\/strong>, <strong>Dorm<\/strong>, <strong>House<\/strong> and <strong>Villa<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Open <strong>Listed In\/Room Type<\/strong>, ringed in the picture, and say how much of it a guest gets: <strong>Entire home<\/strong>, <strong>Private room<\/strong> or <strong>Shared room<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Pick the nearest honest match rather than the grandest-sounding one. These two answers travel together everywhere on the marketplace: they print as a single <strong>Category \/ Room type<\/strong> line on your listing card, and they are what the <strong>Category<\/strong> and <strong>Type<\/strong> filters on the results screen read. The ring is on <strong>Listed In\/Room Type<\/strong>, the second mandatory select.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Step 3 &mdash; Set the guest capacity and the extra-guest allowance<\/h2>\n<p>Next comes the capacity block:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Choose a number in <strong>Guest No<\/strong>. The ring is on <strong>Allow guests above capacity?<\/strong>, which reveals the extra-guest limit beside it.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Step 4 &mdash; Choose the city and the neighbourhood<\/h2>\n<p>Under <strong>City and Neighborhood<\/strong> there are two more dropdowns. Pick your <strong>City<\/strong> first, then open <strong>Neighborhood \/ Area<\/strong> &mdash; ring 1 in the picture &mdash; and choose the area within it.<\/p>\n<p>Both of these are lists the marketplace maintains: you choose from them, you cannot type your own. The areas are paired to their city, so changing the city changes what the area list offers. If your exact locality is not there, take the nearest one on the list and name your actual locality in the description &mdash; that is the honest fix, and it still puts you on the right part of the map.<\/p>\n<p>Notice that the <strong>Continue<\/strong> button is already on screen (ring 2). Ring 2 marks <strong>Continue<\/strong> at the foot of the step &mdash; the <strong>Property Description<\/strong> box above it is still empty.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Step 5 &mdash; Write the description, and keep private details private<\/h2>\n<p>The <strong>Property Description<\/strong> box (ring 3 in the picture) carries the placeholder <em>&ldquo;Describe your listing&rdquo;<\/em>. This is where you win the enquiry. Say what the space actually is and what comes with it: the hall and what is included in the hire, the equipment, whether a clean is covered, and how easy it is to reach by road or rail. Concrete detail reads as confidence; adjectives on their own do not.<\/p>\n<p>Three more boxes sit below it, and they are not all public:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Affiliate Link<\/strong> (ring 6) &mdash; labelled <em>&ldquo;User will be redirected to this link when he wants to make a booking&rdquo;<\/em>. Leave it empty unless you deliberately want booking traffic sent off the marketplace.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Private Notes<\/strong> (ring 4) &mdash; your own reminders. Gate codes, key-holder arrangements, the floor you will not go below. These are for you, not for guests.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Check-In Message ( it will be added to trip details email )<\/strong> (ring 5) &mdash; the arrival instructions that go out with the trip details once a booking is made.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"background:#fff6f1;border-left:4px solid #e0592b;border-radius:8px;padding:14px 18px;margin:22px 0;line-height:1.6;\">&#128161; <strong>Tip<\/strong><br \/>Keep gate codes, alarm details, personal phone numbers and your minimum price in <strong>Private Notes<\/strong> &mdash; never in <strong>Property Description<\/strong>, which anyone on the internet can read. The description sells the space; the private note runs it.<\/div>\n<p>Two tick-boxes finish the step: <strong>Show Contact form instead of Booking Form<\/strong>, which swaps the booking panel on your listing for an enquiry form, and <strong>Allow instant booking? If you were not already signed in, a sign-in and registration box appears at this point &mdash; use it, because the page warns in its own words that otherwise your data will be lost.<\/p>\n<h2>What happens after you select Continue<\/h2>\n<p>Continuing saves the Description step and opens the rest of the listing as a strip of tabs: <strong>Description<\/strong>, <strong>Price<\/strong>, <strong>Images<\/strong>, <strong>Details<\/strong>, <strong>Location<\/strong>, <strong>Amenities<\/strong> and <strong>Calendar<\/strong>. Each tab saves separately, so work through them in your own time &mdash; the <strong>Listing Price<\/strong> the red banner asked for is set on the <strong>Price<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n<p>New listings are checked before they go live, so expect yours to sit at <strong>Waiting for approval<\/strong> on your <strong>My Listings<\/strong> page for a while rather than appearing in search straight away.<\/p>\n<h2>Changing your description or category later<\/h2>\n<p>Nothing here is permanent. Open <strong>My Listings<\/strong> from the Host Dashboard side menu, select the pencil <strong>Edit property<\/strong> icon on the listing&rsquo;s row, and choose the <strong>Description<\/strong> tab. It is the same set of fields you have just filled in &mdash; the only difference is that the button at the foot reads <strong>Save<\/strong> instead of <strong>Continue<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>You can only edit a listing you own, so the edit address of someone else&rsquo;s venue simply returns you to the Utsav Venues home page.<\/p>\n<h2>How your description and category reach guests<\/h2>\n<p>It helps to see where these fields end up. The frames below follow the same walkthrough out of the form and round to the guest&rsquo;s side of the marketplace, signed out &mdash; which is exactly how a stranger meets your venue.<\/p>\n<h3>Where guests start: the Utsav Venues home page<\/h3>\n<p>The public Utsav Venues home page opens on a rotating banner with a compact search bar laid across it: <strong>Where do you want to go ?<\/strong>, <strong>Check-In<\/strong>, <strong>Check-Out<\/strong>, <strong>Guests<\/strong> and a <strong>Search<\/strong> button.
