This document explains the intellectual property rights of instructors, students, and the platform. It’s about who owns what and what licenses are granted.<\/p>\n

The Simple Truth<\/h3>\n

    Instructors Own Their Content<\/strong>: You keep full ownership of your courses. You’re just giving us permission to host and distribute them.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Students Get Limited Licenses<\/strong>: Students can access courses for personal learning but can’t redistribute or sell the content.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Platform Owns the Platform<\/strong>: We own the GyanVapy Courses\u2122 website, software, and brand.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    No Transfer of Ownership<\/strong>: Nothing in these agreements transfers ownership of intellectual property\u2014only licenses are granted.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Part B: Intellectual Property Rights<\/h2>\n

    1. Instructor Intellectual Property<\/h3>\n

    1.1<\/strong>\u00a0Ownership<\/strong>: Instructors retain all right, title, and interest in and to their course content, including:<\/p>\n

      Video lectures<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Presentations and slides<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Text materials<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Quizzes and assessments<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Images and graphics<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Any other original content created for the course<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      1.2<\/strong>\u00a0No Transfer<\/strong>: Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of instructor content to GyanVapy Courses\u2122 or to students.<\/p>\n

      2. License from Instructor to GyanVapy Courses\u2122<\/h3>\n

      2.1<\/strong>\u00a0License Grant<\/strong>: By publishing a course on the platform, instructors grant GyanVapy Courses\u2122 a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable license to:<\/p>\n

      • \n

        Host, store, reproduce, and maintain the course content<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Stream, display, perform, and distribute the content to enrolled students<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Use the content for platform promotional purposes (with attribution)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Modify the content only as necessary for technical compatibility<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Sub-license these rights to service providers and affiliates<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        2.2<\/strong>\u00a0License Duration<\/strong>: This license continues for as long as the course is published on the platform. Upon course removal, the license terminates, but students who enrolled while the course was published retain their access rights.<\/p>\n

        2.3<\/strong>\u00a0Promotional Use<\/strong>: We may use excerpts of your course (trailers, previews) to promote the platform. You may opt out of certain promotional uses by contacting us.<\/p>\n

        3. License from GyanVapy Courses\u2122 to Students<\/h3>\n

        3.1<\/strong>\u00a0Student License<\/strong>: Upon enrollment, students receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view the course content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only.<\/p>\n

        3.2<\/strong>\u00a0License Limitations<\/strong>: Students may not:<\/p>\n

        • \n

          Download and redistribute course content (except where offline viewing is explicitly enabled)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Sell course materials or access<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Create derivative works based on course content<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Use content for commercial purposes<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Share login credentials<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          4. Platform Intellectual Property<\/h3>\n

          4.1<\/strong>\u00a0Platform Ownership<\/strong>: GyanVapy Courses\u2122 and MyMahotsav Futuretech Ltd own all right, title, and interest in:<\/p>\n

            The GyanVapy Courses\u2122 website and mobile applications<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            Platform software and technology<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            GyanVapy trademarks, logos, and branding<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            Aggregated, anonymized data<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            Platform-generated analytics and reports<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            4.2<\/strong>\u00a0No License<\/strong>: Except as expressly provided, no license to platform intellectual property is granted to instructors or students.<\/p>\n

            5. Third-Party Content<\/h3>\n

            5.1<\/strong>\u00a0Instructor Responsibility<\/strong>: Instructors are responsible for ensuring they have all necessary rights for any third-party content included in their courses (images, music, video clips, etc.).<\/p>\n

            5.2<\/strong>\u00a0Student Responsibility<\/strong>: Students are responsible for their use of third-party tools or resources referenced in courses.<\/p>\n

            6. Copyright Infringement Claims<\/h3>\n

            6.1<\/strong>\u00a0DMCA Compliance<\/strong>: GyanVapy Courses\u2122 complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and similar laws in other jurisdictions.<\/p>\n

            6.2<\/strong>\u00a0Reporting<\/strong>: Copyright infringement claims should be sent to\u00a0copyright@gyanvapy.com\u00a0with the required information.<\/p>\n

            6.3<\/strong>\u00a0Repeat Infringers<\/strong>: Accounts of repeat infringers will be terminated.<\/p>\n

            7. Moral Rights<\/h3>\n

            7.1<\/strong>\u00a0Acknowledgment<\/strong>: Instructors retain moral rights in their content to the extent provided by applicable law.<\/p>\n
