You do not need to own the listing, and you do not need any special role &mdash; but you do need to be signed in.<\/div>\n<h2>Quick answer<\/h2>\n<p><strong>To report a review on Utsav Listings, open the listing, go to its Reviews tab, then use the &bull;&bull;&bull; More Options control on the review itself and choose Report Comment. Pick one of the six reasons, write a short report note (it is required), and press Report. Moderators then assess the review against the guidelines. Saying exactly why it is fake or abusive helps them act faster. If a sign-in box appears where the listing content should be, you are signed out &mdash; sign in and return to the listing.<\/li>\n<li>Start from the listing page that carries the review. You can reach it by searching Utsav Listings, or from any link to the listing &mdash; for example <strong>https:\/\/mymahotsav.com\/organizations\/american-meditation-institute\/<\/strong>, the page used for the walkthrough below.<\/li>\n<li>Reporting is done on the individual review, so have the listing open and know which review you mean.<\/li>\n<li>You cannot report your own review. The More Options control offers reporting on other people&rsquo;s reviews.<\/li>\n<li>Have a sentence ready explaining what is wrong with the review &mdash; the report note is a required field, so you cannot submit an empty report.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"background:#f4f6f8;border-left:4px solid #9aa4b2;border-radius:8px;padding:14px 18px;margin:22px 0;line-height:1.6;\">&#8505;&#65039; <strong>Note<\/strong><br \/>Reporting a <strong>review<\/strong> is not the same as reporting a <strong>listing<\/strong>. This guide covers a single review written by another member. If the whole listing is the problem &mdash; wrong business, a duplicate, or an inappropriate page &mdash; report the listing itself rather than one of its reviews.<\/div>\n<h2>Step 1 &mdash; Open the listing that carries the review<\/h2>\n<p>Open the listing page in the normal way. Under the listing name you will see a row of tabs &mdash; <strong>Profile<\/strong>, <strong>Details<\/strong>, <strong>Photos<\/strong>, <strong>Map<\/strong>, <strong>Categories<\/strong>, <strong>Community<\/strong>, <strong>Website<\/strong>, <strong>Franchises<\/strong> &mdash; and, at the end of that row, a <strong>&bull;&bull;&bull;<\/strong> button with a number on it. Click the <strong>&bull;&bull;&bull;<\/strong> button at the end of the tab row and choose <strong>Reviews<\/strong> from the list that drops down.<\/p>\n<p>Only the panel <em>below<\/em> the tab row changes when you do this. Each review has its own <strong>&bull;&bull;&bull; More Options<\/strong> control next to it. More Options and the Report Comment box open alongside the review lower down, so keep your eyes on the review you clicked.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Step 4 &mdash; Choose a reason and write your note<\/h2>\n<p>The <strong>Report Comment<\/strong> box asks for two things:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>A <strong>reason<\/strong>. Pick the one that fits best from the six options: <strong>Harassment<\/strong>, <strong>Inappropriate<\/strong>, <strong>Misinformation<\/strong>, <strong>Offensive<\/strong>, <strong>Suspicious<\/strong> or <strong>Other<\/strong>. Use <strong>Suspicious<\/strong> for a review you believe is fake or planted, and <strong>Misinformation<\/strong> for one that states things about the place that are simply untrue.<\/li>\n<li>A <strong>report note<\/strong>. This is required &mdash; the report will not go through while it is empty. Write one or two plain sentences saying what is wrong: which claim is false, what the abusive wording was, or why the review is about something other than this listing.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Step 5 &mdash; Submit the report<\/h2>\n<p>Press the red <strong>Report<\/strong> button. The box closes and your report goes to the moderation team.<\/p>\n<p>Nothing changes on the listing at that moment. The review stays where it is and looks exactly as it did &mdash; that is expected, and it does not mean the report failed.<\/p>\n<h2>What happens after you report<\/h2>\n<p>A moderator reads the review alongside your note and checks it against the community guidelines. They decide whether it stays as it is, is edited, or is removed. That decision is theirs, not automatic, so a review you have reported may still be there for a while &mdash; or may stay, if it turns out to be a genuine, honest opinion you happen to disagree with.<\/p>\n<p>You will not receive a case number, and you will not be told the outcome. If several members report the same review, moderators see all of the notes.<\/p>\n<h2>Tips and best practices<\/h2>\n<div style=\"background:#eef8f0;border-left:4px solid #2e9e5b;border-radius:8px;padding:14px 18px;margin:22px 0;line-height:1.6;\">&#127919; <strong>Best practice<\/strong><br \/>Be specific in the report note. &ldquo;This is fake&rdquo; gives a moderator nothing to act on; &ldquo;This reviewer says we charged them for a class on 3 May, but we have no booking under that name and the centre was closed that week&rdquo; can be checked in minutes. Facts, dates and quoted wording are what move a report along.<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Report the review, not the reviewer. One report per review is enough &mdash; sending the same complaint repeatedly does not raise its priority.<\/li>\n<li>Keep your note calm and factual. Moderators judge the review against the guidelines, so what matters is what the review says, not how it made you feel.<\/li>\n<li>A negative review is not, by itself, a guideline breach. Honest criticism is allowed to stand. Report when a review is fake, abusive, misleading or about the wrong place.<\/li>\n<li>If you own the listing, a public reply is often the stronger move &mdash; other readers can see your side straight away. If the review is later edited or taken down, your note still shows the moderators exactly what you saw.<\/div>\n<h2>Troubleshooting<\/h2>\n<h3>I cannot find a Reviews tab on the listing<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> Reviews is not one of the tabs shown by default. It sits behind the <strong>&bull;&bull;&bull;<\/strong> button at the end of the tab row, along with the other tabs that do not fit across the width of the page. <strong>Fix:<\/strong> Click <strong>&bull;&bull;&bull;<\/strong> and choose <strong>Reviews<\/strong>, then scroll down to the panel below the tab row. On a narrow screen more tabs hide behind the button, so the list is longer. <strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> the &bull;&bull;&bull; button opens nothing at all, or Reviews is missing from the list on a listing that clearly has reviews on it.<\/p>\n<h3>The page looks the same after I click the tab or the menu<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> switching tabs and opening a review&rsquo;s menu both change things further down the page, while the listing photo, name and tab row stay put. <strong>Fix:<\/strong> scroll down to the panel underneath the tab row &mdash; the reviews, the More Options menu and the Report Comment box all appear there. <strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> the panel below the tab row is still empty after scrolling and refreshing the page.<\/p>\n<h3>There is no More Options control on the review<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> you are signed out, or the review is your own. The control only appears for signed-in members on other people&rsquo;s reviews. <strong>Fix:<\/strong> check that your name shows in the top-right of the page; if a sign-in box appears instead of the listing content, sign in and open the listing again. If the review is yours, edit or delete it rather than reporting it. <strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> you are signed in, the review belongs to somebody else, and no More Options control appears next to it.<\/p>\n<h3>The Report button will not submit<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> the report note is empty, or no reason has been selected.
