That number is simply how many extra tabs are tucked away on this listing, so it differs from one listing to the next.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Select the round three-dot button at the end of the tab row.<\/li>\n<li>Choose <strong>Reviews<\/strong> from the list that drops down.<\/li>\n<li>Scroll down below the tab row. Move along the row and select the star that matches your experience &mdash; one star for poor, five for excellent. Your choice stays lit so you can see what you have given before you post.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background:#f4f6f8;border-left:4px solid #9aa4b2;border-radius:8px;padding:14px 18px;margin:22px 0;line-height:1.6;\">&#8505;&#65039; <strong>Note<\/strong><br \/>There is one <strong>Overall<\/strong> score and no separate marks for cleanliness, facilities or service. That is how ratings are set up across Utsav Listings today, not a fault with your listing &mdash; so write the per-aspect detail into your review text where other members will read it.<\/div>\n<h2>Step 4 &mdash; Write your review<\/h2>\n<p>Under the stars is the review box. This part is required &mdash; the form will not post on a star rating alone. Write what another member would find useful:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When you visited, or which ceremony or service you booked.<\/li>\n<li>What was good &mdash; the darshan queue, the cleanliness of the premises, the parking, how the purohit explained each ritual.<\/li>\n<li>What could be better, said plainly and fairly.<\/li>\n<li>Anything practical: timings, accessibility, whether prasad or facilities were available.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Step 5 &mdash; Add photos (optional)<\/h2>\n<p>Below the review box is a drop area for pictures. You can add up to <strong>five<\/strong> images, in JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP or ICO format. Drag them in or select the area to browse your device. Each picture you add shows as a small thumbnail with preview, edit and delete icons, so you can remove one before posting if you change your mind.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background:#fff6f1;border-left:4px solid #e0592b;border-radius:8px;padding:14px 18px;margin:22px 0;line-height:1.6;\">&#128161; <strong>Tip<\/strong><br \/>Photographs of the premises, the entrance, the facilities or the notice board help far more than a photograph of the deity. Please respect each temple&rsquo;s own photography rules, and never upload pictures of other people without their agreement.<\/div>\n<h2>Step 6 &mdash; Post your review<\/h2>\n<p>Read your words back once, then select <strong>Post Review<\/strong> at the foot of the form. The panel refreshes and your review joins the list of reviews shown for that listing, with your name and your star rating beside it.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 7 &mdash; Check the star row on the listing<\/h2>\n<p>Scroll back to the top of the listing. The row of stars under the listing name is the listing&rsquo;s published rating &mdash; the score every member sees at a glance, built from the reviews left for it. On this temple the stars were still empty when the picture was taken, because no review had been published for it at that point.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Rating a purohit or an organisation &mdash; the same steps<\/h2>\n<p>Utsav Listings uses one review panel for every kind of listing, so nothing changes between directories. Whether you are rating a temple in Temples, a priest in Purohits, a trust or society in Organisations, or a shop or service in Businesses, you open the listing, open <strong>Reviews<\/strong> behind the round three-dot button, set the <strong>Overall<\/strong> stars, write your comment and select <strong>Post Review<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>What changes is only what you write about. For a purohit, that is usually punctuality, the ceremonies they conduct, the languages they recite in and how clearly they explain each step. For an organisation, it is usually how the trust or society runs its events, how easy it was to reach someone, and how it handled a donation or an enquiry.<\/p>\n<h2>Viewing the reviews on a listing<\/h2>\n<p>To read what others have written about a temple, a purohit or an organisation, open the listing and go to the same place: the round three-dot button at the end of the tab row, then <strong>Reviews<\/strong>. Published reviews appear in the panel below the tab row, newest first, each with the member&rsquo;s name, their star rating and any pictures they attached.<\/p>\n<p>You do not need to leave a review of your own to read them, and the summary star row under the listing name gives you the short version before you open the panel at all.<\/p>\n<h2>Tips and best practices<\/h2>\n<div style=\"background:#eef8f0;border-left:4px solid #2e9e5b;border-radius:8px;padding:14px 18px;margin:22px 0;line-height:1.6;\">&#127919; <strong>Best practice<\/strong><br \/>Write the review you would have wanted to read before you went. Name the month you visited, be specific about one or two things, and keep it kind &mdash; a fair, dated, concrete review helps the next family plan their darshan or choose a purohit far better than &ldquo;very good&rdquo; and five stars.<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Review only where you have been.<\/strong> First-hand experience is what makes a rating worth reading.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Make your stars and your words agree.<\/strong> A five-star rating alongside a list of complaints confuses everyone.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Keep personal details out of it.<\/strong> Do not publish phone numbers, booking references or another member&rsquo;s name.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Raise a problem privately first.<\/strong> If something went wrong, contact the temple or the purohit through the contact buttons on the listing. A review is a poor place to start a dispute.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Be patient with the score.<\/strong> The star row under the listing name reflects the reviews published for it, so a single new review moves a busy listing&rsquo;s average only a little.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Troubleshooting<\/h2>\n<h3>There is no Reviews tab on the listing<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> Reviews is one of the hidden tabs. The visible row stops at Website, and everything else is folded into the round button with three dots and a count badge at the end of the row. <strong>Fix:<\/strong> select that round button and choose <strong>Reviews<\/strong> from the list it opens. <strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> the three-dot button is missing altogether on a listing, or Reviews is not in its list &mdash; send us the listing address and we will check that listing.<\/p>\n<h3>I selected Reviews and nothing happened<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> choosing Reviews swaps the panel <em>below<\/em> the tab row and leaves the top of the page exactly where it was, so on a tall screen it looks as though the page ignored you. <strong>Fix:<\/strong> scroll down past the tab row &mdash; the <strong>Leave a Review.<\/strong> heading and the star selector are waiting there. <strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> the area below the tab row is still blank after you have scrolled and refreshed the page once.<\/p>\n<h3>A sign-in box appears instead of the review form<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> you are signed out, or your session has expired while the page sat open. Reading reviews is open to everyone, but posting one needs an account. <strong>Fix:<\/strong> sign in from that box, then open the listing again and go back to <strong>Reviews<\/strong>. <strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> you are signed in elsewhere on MyMahotsav and the listing still shows the sign-in box after a refresh.<\/p>\n<h3>Post Review does nothing, or my review has not appeared<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> the written comment is required, so the form will refuse a star rating on its own; if you did write one, the page may still be showing you a cached copy of the panel. <strong>Fix:<\/strong> check there is text in the review box, then select <strong>Post Review<\/strong> again; if it was accepted, refresh the listing and reopen <strong>Reviews<\/strong>. <strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> your review is still missing after a refresh, or you see an error message when you post &mdash; send us the listing address and roughly when you posted.<\/p>\n<h2>FAQ<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Q: How do I review a temple?<\/strong><br \/>A: Sign in, open the temple&rsquo;s listing, select the round three-dot button at the end of the tab row and choose <strong>Reviews<\/strong>.
