You need no special role and no paid package: the import sits on the standard Add Business form.<\/div>\n<h2>Quick answer<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Open Add a Business, paste the address of your Yelp business page into the &ldquo;Import Details from Social URLs&rdquo; box at the very top of the form, and select Import Details. Your saved business details drop straight into the form. If a sign-in box appears instead of the form, you are not signed in yet.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Have your Yelp page to hand.<\/strong> Open it in another tab so you can copy its address.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Use the business page address itself<\/strong> &mdash; the one with <strong>\/biz\/<\/strong> in it, such as <em>https:\/\/www.yelp.co.uk\/biz\/your-business-name<\/em>. A search results page, a single review link or a shortened share link will not import cleanly.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Know which package you want.<\/strong> Free Business is selected by default and is free for unlimited days; the Silver Package is the paid alternative.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Treat the import as a head start, not a finished listing.<\/strong> You still choose a real category, check every field and work through the remaining steps yourself.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Step 1 &mdash; Open the Add Business form<\/h2>\n<p>Go to <strong>Add a Business<\/strong>. The form opens on the first stage, <strong>Package<\/strong>, with the rest of the journey shown along the progress bar above it: Title, Location, Contact, Linked Details, Activity and Leadership.<\/p>\n<p>At the top, under the heading <strong>Import Details from Social URLs<\/strong>, is a single empty box &mdash; ringed in the picture below. That box is where the Yelp address goes; its placeholder reads &ldquo;Enter facebook page, Yelp page, TripAdvisor url&rdquo;.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background:#f4f6f8;border-left:4px solid #9aa4b2;border-radius:8px;padding:14px 18px;margin:22px 0;line-height:1.6;\">&#8505;&#65039; <strong>Note<\/strong><br \/>Just below the import box sits a separate block headed <strong>Import from Google My Business<\/strong> with a <strong>Connect to Google My Business<\/strong> button. That is a different feature and it will not import a Yelp page. Select the <strong>click here<\/strong> link in that message to clear it, so your import starts from a clean form.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 2 &mdash; Paste your Yelp address and select Import Details<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Copy the address of your Yelp business page from your browser&rsquo;s address bar.<\/li>\n<li>Paste it into the import box &mdash; marked <strong>1<\/strong> in the picture.<\/li>\n<li>Under <strong>Package<\/strong>, choose the package you want. <strong>Free Business<\/strong> is marked <strong>2<\/strong> in the picture.<\/li>\n<li>Answer <strong>Has Franchise?<\/strong> &mdash; marked <strong>3<\/strong>. Your package choice and your franchise answer stay exactly as you set them, so nothing you have already picked is lost.<\/p>\n<p>Scroll down past the <strong>Package<\/strong> box and you will see the <strong>Title<\/strong> section below it, now carrying your business details instead of empty boxes. The import gives you a draft of your details; you decide what is right.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Check <strong>Business Title<\/strong> (marked <strong>4<\/strong>) reads exactly as you want your listing to be found &mdash; edit it if Yelp holds an older trading name.<\/li>\n<li>Look at <strong>Category<\/strong>. It arrives holding a single &ldquo;Uncategorized&rdquo; chip. Remove that chip using the small &times; beside it and choose at least one real category for your business.<\/li>\n<li>Set <strong>Default Category<\/strong> (marked <strong>5<\/strong>) to that same real category. It arrives as &ldquo;Uncategorized&rdquo; too, and it affects your listing address and map marker.<\/li>\n<li>Add <strong>Tags<\/strong> and a <strong>Foundation Day<\/strong> if you would like &mdash; both are optional.<\/li>\n<li>Read the <strong>Business Description<\/strong> (marked <strong>6<\/strong>) through. Tidy the wording, and add anything the import could not know, such as festival services or delivery areas.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div style=\"background:#f4f6f8;border-left:4px solid #9aa4b2;border-radius:8px;padding:14px 18px;margin:22px 0;line-height:1.6;\">&#8505;&#65039; <strong>Note<\/strong><br \/>Change the category <em>before<\/em> you select Next. Category and Default Category are both required, and the &ldquo;Uncategorized&rdquo; value they arrive with looks filled in but does not count &mdash; leave it and the form will simply refuse to move on.<\/div>\n<p>When the title, category and description all read correctly, select <strong>Next<\/strong> to carry on to the rest of the listing details. Search pages, single reviews and shortened share links do not.<\/li>\n<li><strong>For a branch, use that branch&rsquo;s own Yelp page.<\/strong> A chain&rsquo;s main page will bring across the wrong address and phone number.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Treat blank fields as normal.<\/strong> The import only knows what your Yelp page shows publicly. Anything it leaves empty is simply yours to complete.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Your reviews stay on Yelp.<\/strong> Individual reviews do not transfer to your MyMahotsav listing.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Add your own photos.<\/strong> Pictures are part of what makes a listing worth opening, so add them as you work through the form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"background:#eef8f0;border-left:4px solid #2e9e5b;border-radius:8px;padding:14px 18px;margin:22px 0;line-height:1.6;\">&#127919; <strong>Best practice<\/strong><br \/>Keep your Yelp page open in a second tab and read the imported fields against it, one by one, before you select Next. Yelp pages often hold details a business changed years ago &mdash; old opening hours, an old phone number, a former trading name &mdash; and the moment you import them they become your MyMahotsav listing until you correct them.<\/div>\n<div style=\"background:#fff6f1;border-left:4px solid #e0592b;border-radius:8px;padding:14px 18px;margin:22px 0;line-height:1.6;\">&#128161; <strong>Tip<\/strong><br \/>The same box accepts a Facebook page or TripAdvisor address as well as a Yelp one. Use whichever of your pages is the most complete and up to date &mdash; you only get to import once per listing, so pick the best source.<\/div>\n<h2>Troubleshooting<\/h2>\n<h3>Next does nothing and the form will not move on<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> Category and Default Category are still set to &ldquo;Uncategorized&rdquo;. Both are required, and the default value they arrive with does not satisfy the check &mdash; so the form quietly refuses to advance even though every box looks filled.<br \/>\n<strong>Fix:<\/strong> Remove the &ldquo;Uncategorized&rdquo; chip from <strong>Category<\/strong>, choose a real category for your business, then set <strong>Default Category<\/strong> to match. Select <strong>Next<\/strong> again.<br \/>\n<strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> you have picked a real category in both fields, saved the page and tried again, and Next still will not move you on &mdash; raise a support ticket with the name of the category you chose.<\/p>\n<h3>I selected Import Details and nothing was filled in<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> The address you pasted is not a public business page &mdash; usually a search results page, a single review, an app share link, or a page that has been made private or removed.<br \/>\n<strong>Fix:<\/strong> Open your business page on Yelp in a browser, copy the address from the address bar (it will contain <strong>\/biz\/<\/strong>), paste that in, and select <strong>Import Details<\/strong> again. If it still brings nothing across, fill the form in by hand &mdash; the import is a convenience, never a requirement.<br \/>\n<strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> a proper <strong>\/biz\/<\/strong> address imports nothing on two separate attempts. Send us the exact address you used.<\/p>\n<h3>The details that came across are wrong or out of date<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> The import copies whatever that Yelp page holds at that moment. If the page is stale, or belongs to a different branch of the same business, those are the details you get.<br \/>\n<strong>Fix:<\/strong> Edit the fields directly in the form &mdash; everything imported is fully editable. For a specific branch, go back and import from that branch&rsquo;s own Yelp page instead.<br \/>\n<strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> the details clearly belong to somebody else&rsquo;s business. Stop, do not submit the listing, and contact support.<\/p>\n<h3>The form is showing details from a listing I started earlier<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> An unfinished draft has been restored, and the message at the top of the page is telling you so.<br \/>\n<strong>Fix:<\/strong> Select the <strong>click here<\/strong> link in that message to remove the restored revision, then paste your Yelp address into the empty form.<br \/>\n<strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> the old details keep coming back after you have cleared them and reloaded the page.<\/p>\n<h2>FAQ<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Q: Where do I paste my Yelp URL?<\/strong><br \/>\nA: Into the single box at the very top of the Add Business form, under the heading <strong>Import Details from Social URLs<\/strong>.
