The last two sections are for vendors, who see every store review on their own dashboard. You need to be signed in to leave a rating.<\/div>\n<h2>Quick answer<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Open the vendor&rsquo;s store page, choose the <strong>Reviews<\/strong> tab and select <strong>WRITE A REVIEW<\/strong>. A short form opens where you give the store a star rating, a title and a comment, then select <strong>SUBMIT<\/strong>. This store rating is completely separate from a product review &mdash; it scores the seller, not the item. You can reach it from any of their product pages, from the store directory under <strong>SELL HERE<\/strong>, or by opening the store link directly &mdash; for example <strong>https:\/\/mymahotsav.com\/utsav-market\/store-listing\/holistic-health\/reviews\/<\/strong>, which opens that store straight on its Reviews tab.<\/li>\n<li>Have one clear thing to say about the <em>service<\/em>: how quickly they replied, how the order was packed, whether delivery matched what was promised.<\/li>\n<li>If what you want to comment on is the item itself &mdash; the fabric, the size, the taste &mdash; that belongs on the product&rsquo;s own review form instead. See the separate guide on writing and managing product reviews.<\/li>\n<li>Vendors only: you reach your own review list from your vendor dashboard, using the <strong>VENDOR DASHBOARD<\/strong> button in the Utsav Market header.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Step 1 &mdash; Open the vendor&rsquo;s store page and choose Reviews<\/h2>\n<p>Open the store you want to rate. Under the store name and the contact row you will see a tab bar: <strong>Products<\/strong>, <strong>Terms and Conditions<\/strong>, <strong>Reviews<\/strong> and <strong>Vendor Biography<\/strong>. Select <strong>Reviews<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Look at the star line just under the store name &mdash; this is the store&rsquo;s overall service score. This is the score that feeds the store&rsquo;s overall rating.<\/li>\n<li>Type a short <strong>Title<\/strong>: a few words that sum up the experience, such as &ldquo;Quick replies, careful packing&rdquo;.<\/li>\n<li>Write your comment in <strong>Your Review<\/strong>. Keep it to the service &mdash; ordering, messages, packing, delivery, and how any problem was handled.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>SUBMIT<\/strong>. Select <strong>SUBMIT<\/strong>, ringed in the picture, to send it.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Step 4 &mdash; Vendors: what you can do from your dashboard Reviews screen<\/h2>\n<p>This step is for vendors, and it is a different screen from the store page above. Open your vendor dashboard and select <strong>Reviews<\/strong> in the left-hand menu. Every review left on your store lands here.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Use the status tabs across the top &mdash; <strong>Approved<\/strong>, <strong>Pending<\/strong>, <strong>Spam<\/strong> and <strong>Trash<\/strong> &mdash; to see reviews at each stage. Each tab carries its own count.<\/li>\n<li>Read the list columns: <strong>Author<\/strong> (who left it), <strong>Comment<\/strong> (what they wrote), <strong>Link To<\/strong> (where it appears) and <strong>Rating<\/strong> (the stars they gave).<\/li>\n<li>Tick a review and use the bulk actions to <strong>Mark Approve<\/strong>, <strong>Mark Pending<\/strong>, <strong>Mark Spam<\/strong> or <strong>Mark Trash<\/strong>. Approving publishes it on your store page; the other three take it out of public view.<\/li>\n<li>Use the <strong>View Comment<\/strong> link on a row to open that review where it sits on the live page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div style=\"background:#f4f6f8;border-left:4px solid #9aa4b2;border-radius:8px;padding:14px 18px;margin:22px 0;line-height:1.6;\">&#8505;&#65039; <strong>Note<\/strong><br \/>This screen moderates reviews; it does not carry a reply box. There is no field on the Reviews screen for typing a public answer underneath a customer&rsquo;s review, so please don&rsquo;t go looking for one. If you want to put something right with a customer, use the contact routes on your own store page &mdash; the contact button and live chat &mdash; or reply to the order conversation. Please raise these with us rather than trading replies in public.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background:#f4f6f8;border-left:4px solid #9aa4b2;border-radius:8px;padding:14px 18px;margin:22px 0;line-height:1.6;\">&#8505;&#65039; <strong>Note<\/strong><br \/>There is no one-tap <strong>Report<\/strong> button on a store review. To have a review looked at, open a support ticket through the Help menu and give us the store name, the reviewer&rsquo;s name as shown, the date and what looks wrong. Vendors can also take the review out of public view straight away with <strong>Mark Spam<\/strong> or <strong>Mark Pending<\/strong> on the dashboard Reviews screen while we look into it. Don&rsquo;t remove a review just because it is critical &mdash; hiding fair criticism is grounds for action on the store.<\/div>\n<h2>Tips and best practices<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Rate the seller for things the seller controls: replies, packing, dispatch speed, how a problem was sorted out. A courier delay is not the vendor&rsquo;s fault.<\/li>\n<li>Give the vendor a chance first. A quick message through the store&rsquo;s contact or live chat option often fixes the problem, and you can still leave your rating afterwards.<\/li>\n<li>Be specific. &ldquo;Answered within an hour and packed the brass diya in three layers&rdquo; helps the next shopper far more than &ldquo;good seller&rdquo;.<\/li>\n<li>Keep personal details out of your review &mdash; no phone numbers, addresses or order numbers. It is a public page.<\/li>\n<li>Rate the store once, for the overall experience. It drops you straight at the <strong>WRITE A REVIEW<\/strong> button.<\/div>\n<h2>Troubleshooting<\/h2>\n<h3>A sign-in box appears instead of the review form<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> You are signed out, or your session expired while you were browsing. Store ratings can only be left by signed-in members. <strong>Fix:<\/strong> Sign in, return to the store page, select the <strong>Reviews<\/strong> tab again and select <strong>WRITE A REVIEW<\/strong>. <strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> You are definitely signed in &mdash; your name shows in the header &mdash; and the sign-in box still appears.<\/p>\n<h3>WRITE A REVIEW does nothing when you select it<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> The form is loaded in the background when you select the button, so a half-loaded page, a slow connection or a script blocker can stop it opening. <strong>Fix:<\/strong> Let the page finish loading, then try again. If nothing happens, reload the page, switch off ad or script blockers for MyMahotsav, or try another browser. <strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> The button stays dead on more than one browser.<\/p>\n<h3>Your review is not on the store page<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> New store reviews can sit in the vendor&rsquo;s <strong>Pending<\/strong> queue before they are published, so there is a gap between submitting and seeing it. <strong>Fix:<\/strong> Give it a few days and check the <strong>Reviews<\/strong> tab again. <strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> It is still missing after a week, or it disappeared after being visible &mdash; tell us the store name and roughly when you left it.<\/p>\n<h3>Vendors: there is no box to reply to a review<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> The dashboard <strong>Reviews<\/strong> screen is built for moderating reviews, not for answering them &mdash; it has status tabs and bulk actions, and no reply field. <strong>Fix:<\/strong> Contact the customer directly through your store&rsquo;s contact or live chat option, or through the order conversation, and use <strong>Mark Pending<\/strong> or <strong>Mark Spam<\/strong> only for reviews that break the rules. <strong>Escalate if:<\/strong> A review is defamatory or names another business and you need it taken down &mdash; raise a ticket instead of binning it quietly.<\/p>\n<h2>FAQ<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Q: Is the vendor rating separate from the product rating?<\/strong><br \/>A: Yes. The rating you leave from a store page&rsquo;s <strong>Reviews<\/strong> tab scores the seller&rsquo;s service and feeds the star line under the store name. A product review is left on that product&rsquo;s own page and scores the item.
