Earned back around your activity on MyMahotsav rather than handed out as a code, and it belongs to you across the whole site rather than to any one store.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Marketplace coupons: funded by the marketplace<\/h2>\n<p>A marketplace coupon is created centrally and can be set to cover products from more than one store. This is the only kind of code that can discount a basket spanning several sellers, which is why the big seasonal and festival codes are always this type.<\/p>\n<p>Because the marketplace funds it, no individual store can create, change or withdraw one, and no store can opt your code out at the till. If you were sent a marketplace code, the conditions attached to it &mdash; the dates it runs, any minimum spend, how many times it may be used &mdash; were set when the code was made, and they travel with the code.<\/p>\n<h2>Vendor coupons: funded by one store<\/h2>\n<p>A vendor coupon is made by a store owner in their own dashboard, and it is tightly fenced. A vendor can only attach their coupon to their own products; they physically cannot build a code that touches another store&rsquo;s catalogue. So on a basket holding items from three sellers, a vendor coupon discounts one seller&rsquo;s items and leaves the rest at full price.
