      Job Description:

      We are seeking a motivated and passionate Fundraising Intern to support our fundraising initiatives and donor engagement efforts. The Fundraising Intern will work closely with the fundraising team to help raise funds, organize events, and cultivate relationships with donors and supporters.

      Responsibilities:

      1. Assist in researching potential donors, sponsors, and funding opportunities.
      2. Support the development and implementation of fundraising campaigns and events.
      3. Help maintain donor databases and track donation records.
      4. Prepare fundraising materials, including donation appeals, thank-you letters, and campaign reports.
      5. Assist in coordinating fundraising events, including logistics, promotion, and volunteer management.
      6. Engage with donors and supporters through phone calls, emails, and social media to cultivate relationships and solicit donations.
      7. Conduct prospect research and identify new fundraising opportunities.
      8. Assist in creating content for fundraising communications, including website updates, social media posts, and email newsletters.
      9. Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and training workshops.
      10. Support other fundraising-related tasks and projects as needed.

      Qualifications:

      • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a bachelor’s or master’s program in nonprofit management, fundraising, marketing, or a related field.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
      • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with donors and supporters.
      • Detail-oriented and organized, with strong time management skills.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
      • Previous experience in fundraising, event planning, or nonprofit work (preferred).
      • Passion for social justice and making a positive impact in the community.
