A Rajasthani Jharokha is a work of art and adds a certain level of sophistication and elegance to your home decor. Jharokha traditionally means a small window projected from a wall of a building.
The Jharokha Special Art Event is envisioned as a one-of-a-kind experience where participants not only immerse themselves in the culture of Rajasthan but also engage in artistic activities that provide a hands-on understanding of the state’s unique art forms. The event seeks to create a holistic experience by learning and painting Pichwai style on Jharokha, music, décor, and cuisine.
Highlights of the Event:
• Artistic Workshop by Artist Smita Sonthalia- Participants will have the opportunity to paint and design their own personal Rajasthani jharokha, utilising a variety of materials such as colors, mirrors, and clay. This personalised creation will serve as a memorable takeaway from the event.
• Musical Ambiance: To enhance the cultural atmosphere, small speakers will play traditional Rajasthani music, creating an immersive auditory experience throughout the event.
• Rajasthani-inspired Decor: The event space will be transformed into a mini Rajasthani Haven with large art structures inspired by Rajasthani architecture. The décor aims to transport participants to the vibrant and colorful landscapes of Rajasthan.
• Culinary Delights: Indulge in Rajasthani feast, offering participants a genuine taste of the region’s authentic cuisine. Homemade and mindful of allergies, detailed ingredient lists will be provided in advance, ensuring a delightful and safe dining experience.
