Works well and robust
My previous laptop was super thin which looked great but the keyboard was not great being a bit sticky. This one is rather chunky in comparison but works very well. Keyboard is full size with the 14 inch screen. 13 inch screens have very slightly compressed keyboards.
Issues with the batteries working then not working
Really happy when I first got the laptop. It looked in good condition and was what I expected. Sadly we’ve had issues with this running out of charge or the battery is not visible so only works when plugged in. Seems there are supposed to be 2 batteries – One is missing and one doesn’t work consistently so the laptop has to be plugged in. To be honest we should have just bought a new laptop. I am really disappointed in the quality.Support is too technical asking for log files to be downloaded and uploaded etc. All in all very disappointed.

Very pleased with my laptop
Didnt work and came without charger unfortunately
The laptop came without a charger. As this is dispatched by Amazon they advised I had to send the whole package back and get a refund so, keen to keep the laptop and minimise hassle, I purchased a charger at my own cost. Unfortunately though once the laptop has been charged the battery runs down in a matter of hours and I assume must be faulty. I have had to return the laptop therefore for a full refund. Disappointing as I have had some good laptops and computers on Renewed before.
Bag of spanners – don’t
This was a wreck of a laptop. There is no good news. Amazon, good as their word on returns took it back and I replaced it with an Elitebook. Nasty. Good news, good screen, nothing else.
Fast
An excellent laptop to replace my old one which had Intel Celeron. I work at home every day and this laptop is responsive & fast, and easy to use. I updated it to Windows 11 which was fairly easy too. Thanks so much.
Lid scratched and no pound sign key
Despite description lid had two scratches that are certainly visible from more than 30cm away. Additionally, the keyboard is American, there is no UK pound sign key but a $ key instead. Not a deal breaker but certainly very annoying!
One issue but otherwise fantastic
The laptop arrived in perfect condition and worked brilliantly apart from one issue. Whenever I unplugged the charger the laptop’s internal battery only lasted a few minutes before shutting down. I contacted MicroDream who were very helpful and got me to send a battery report before agreeing to send a replacement internal battery. The laptop works much better now! Obviously I was disappointed initially but I was impressed with the Seller’s communication.
