With WIFI 6, your Inspiron’s WIFI transfer speeds, range and reliability work better than ever in high traffic areas. ExpressCharge capabilities minimize the time you spend tethered to an outlet and will recharge your battery up to 80% in 60 minutes.
ExpressCharge must be enabled within Dell Power Manager software. System must be powered off or in hibernation mode for ExpressCharge feature to function. After charging has reached the stated capacity, charging speed will return to normal speed. Recommended for use with the provided Dell power adapter; not recommended with a smaller capacity power adapter. Charging times may vary.

Great all round laptop
A great little laptop, very light, good sized screen, easy when travelling. It’s also very fast, good value for money and I would thoroughly recommend it.
Good Laptop
Bought to replace an ageing Dell 17.3 inch and although a slightly smaller screen at 16 inches there is little difference due to the thin bezel on this model.Set up was fine ,the headphione socket would not work but after uninstalling via device manager and re- starting it reinstalled the correct drivers automatically and all works fine. This is a quick and responsive laptop and seems well built, it will handle games that are not too demanding and does not run too hot.Windows 11 is installed and at first use seems too bloated with items that are not always easy to find compared to windows 10 but after some tweaking it works ok.All in all a good purchase if you want an every day laptop that will handle most tasks with ease.
Great all round laptop
Bought as a work from home laptop and doing some online courses. Works perfectly for what I need. Even been playing Football Manager 2024.Bonus is the display and sound quality. Great laptop and a bargain for the price.
Very powerful
Out of 10 I will give 12 , I was pleasantly surprised but everything. Build, performance, size . Yea one thing is true colours of display aren’t great but for what we use it makes no difference, considering the price we have paid I can’t be happier .
Fast and light
This is a great little laptop – very light, yet with a decent sized screen, so great for portability when travelling. It’s also very fast. So altogether good value for money and I would thoroughly recommend it.
Issues to consider
Good value, but: There is NO ethernet port with this Dell laptop so if you need one then don’t buy.With Windows 11 updates to drivers, the screen will blank and fan race. The only way to progress is power off and on so Windows 11 updates proceed the use Dell driver updates.
Touchpad Very Difficult To Use
This is a well priced laptop with a 1920×1200 screen. Build quaility appears to be good, similar to millions of other laptops made in China. However, like many modern laptops there are no dedicated ‘mouse’ keys, instead you ‘click’ on the touchpad. I found this is unusable, it detects clicks when just moving the cursor and detection of left click or right click appears almost random. I had to buy a bluetooth handheld trackball to make the laptop usable.The operating system is Windows 11, I used the free software Winaerotweaker, ExplorerPatcher and OpenShell to configure it to my preferences.
Fantastic student laptop
Great performance, not experienced any lag yet even on battery mode, can have many windows and desktops open no problem, light and portable with 5+ hour battery life and rarely makes any noise – perfect.Beautifully convenient.Fits in smaller bags.Been using it for a month now and canât think of anything negative. Havenât gamed on it but itâll probably do a decent job for more casual games.
