Description
Join us for a celebration of the life and work of Raghavan Iyer, who helped introduce many Americans to vivid flavors, seasonal ingredients, a treasure-trove of spices, and unexpected but tantalizing combinations. During his life, with charm, wit, and an impeccable palate, he was instrumental in generating enthusiasm for the wide world of Indian cuisine. Working with a small team, you’ll create flatbread that is filled with cooked yellow peas; a protein-rich, nutritious, vegetarian curry; fluffy long-grain rice with spinach and slow-roasted onions; and a moist and chocolaty pound cake with sweet potatoes and a hint of spice.
For ages 18 & up. 21 or older? You’ll enjoy a glass of wine that has been paired with your meal.
