The Indian Performing Art Center has been promoting the classical art of Kathak dance in Los Angeles for more than a decade. Our founder, Guru Rachana Upadhyay, began teaching Kathak dance in this city in 1998, and we are honored to continue her legacy of Lucknow style Kathak for our community. This year marks 25 years of Shweta’s Kathak practice under the guidance of her beloved Guru.
