Artist Ayshwarya Subramanian is bringing the beautiful traditional art of Lippan Art to Five Oaks Museum. Ayshwarya is preparing special textured boards and bringing all of the materials so that you can follow along and make your own beautiful mirrored artwork as a family. Join her at Five Oaks Museum on May 18, 2024 to create your own unique Lippan art!
Free Family Mornings is an ongoing series: on select Saturdays from 11am – noon bring the whole family for free museum admission and a hands-on, all-ages workshop led by local artists.
Free Family Mornings events are held in our community room, and space is limited to 40. For that reason we require registration, but if space is still available you are welcome to register right up until the time of the event (we know how it is trying to plan ahead with the whole crew!)
All kids under 15 must be accompanied by an adult to ensure safe, creative fun for everyone. Art activities are aimed at around kindergarten level and up with adult support, but wee ones are welcome to tag along too.
