About the Havan
We solemnly invite you to join us for this grand yagna in the presence of the Global Head of Chinmaya Mission, Pujya Swami Swaroopananda (Pujya Swamiji), for the welfare of all beings.
H.H. Swami Chinmayanandaji once said “To do your job even if circumstances are not conducive, is our gift to Him who is the sole lord of all circumstances.”
Invocation of Maha Mrtyunjaya Mantra through the Vedic Havan does inspire us to do our job even when circumstances are not conducive and thus help heal the world from fears and thus create feelings of hope, peace, health and prosperity. The world, today, desperately needs this.
The program includes a brief introduction to the vedic ritual and the meaning of the Maha Mrtyunjaya Mantra by Pujya Swamiji followed by 108 times chanting of the mantra while offering into the sacred fire. All participants will have the opportunity to offer their oblations into the vedic fire to gain the blessings.
Note: Only Yajmans will get to sit for full 108 Maha Mrtyunjaya Offerings, all others (non Yajmans) will get to do 9 offerings (ahutis), make their donation offering and accept their prasad and leave. No place is available for standing or sitting for all 108 Mantras due to the limitation of space.
This event is free and in person. All are welcome to attend.
