Agrico Durga Puja Committee will celebrate its Platinum Jubilee Year. During a meeting of the Committee presided by YP Singh, several plans were discussed to celebrate the special the special occasion in a spirit of gaiety and joy. The Committee General Secretary, Bhupendra Singh stated during the meeting, “Committee members and devotees are looking forward to our 75th year celebration with anticipation of special arrangements during our Durgotsav this year. Preparations are on in full swing to make our Platinum Jubilee celebrations memorable. The idol of Devi Durga will be very specially crafted and the fair ground would be given the touch of fairyland. Special light décor, a grand Puja Pandal with fool-proof security arrangements will mark the occasion.”
Bhupendra further informed that devotional and cultural programmes would be organized during the celebrations. He has urged the state government and the district administration to provide guidelines to be adhered to at the earliest to make arrangements accordingly. “This will eliminate confusion among the Durga Puja committees. Last moment directives hamper preparations for celebrating Durgotsav,” he said.
