One of the most remarkable features of the Mahabharata epic is its ability to question itself and the world of normative values from which it emerged. Beginning at the social and narrative margins of the epic world, this session will move into the heart of the epic story, where the characters find themselves trapped in contradictions, conflicts, and disturbing moral dilemmas, which continue to be relevant to our world today.
