Temple Volunteer – Langar Seva

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to support our Langar Seva activities at the temple. This volunteer role is central to serving free, warm meals to the community with devotion and humility.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in preparing, cooking, and serving meals during daily or festival langars
Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and orderly setup of the kitchen and dining area
Work collaboratively with temple coordinators and other volunteers
Assist in distribution of food, cleanup, and organizing supplies
Represent the spirit of Seva (selfless service) with discipline and joy

Ideal Candidate:

Deep respect for spiritual service and community feeding
Reliable, punctual, and physically able to support food prep or distribution
Open to learning traditional recipes and following temple kitchen guidelines
