PART A: PLAIN ENGLISH SUMMARY #
What Is UTSAV DAAN™? #
UTSAV DAAN™ (उत्सवदान) is MyMahotsav’s crowdfunding platform that brings together “Utsav” (celebration/festival) and “Daan” (giving/donation) . We help individuals, communities, and organizations raise funds for social causes, cultural preservation, temple restoration, and community projects.
The Simple Explanation #
-
UTSAV DAAN™ is a platform, not a charity: We provide the technology for campaigns. We don’t collect donations on our own behalf.
-
Your donations go to campaigns: When you donate, funds go to the specific Campaign you chose (held securely in escrow).
-
Campaigns are created by users: Anyone can start a Campaign, subject to verification.
-
We don’t guarantee Campaign success: We verify documents but cannot guarantee the genuineness of every cause—that’s where community validation helps.
-
Money is protected: All funds sit in a separate Escrow Account, not mixed with company money.
-
Fees are transparent: Platform fees, payment gateway fees, and transfer charges are clearly disclosed.
