When Content Is Created by Artificial Intelligence #
AI tools can create amazing content—images, videos, text, and audio. But when you post AI-generated content, others have a right to know. This policy explains our requirements.
The Simple Truth #

Disclose AI use: If your content is generated entirely or substantially by AI, you should label it.

Why it matters: Transparency helps prevent deception (deep fakes, misinformation) and respects others’ ability to evaluate content.

Exceptions: Minor AI edits (brightening a photo, spell-checking) don’t need disclosure.

We may label automatically: Some AI-generated content may be detected and labeled by our systems.
Part B: Legal Terms and Conditions #
1. Definitions #

| Deep Fake | AI-generated media that realistically depicts someone saying or doing something they did not |
| Synthetic Media | Media that has been substantially generated or modified by AI |
2. Disclosure Requirements #
2.1 Users must clearly disclose when posting Content that is:

(a) Entirely generated by AI (text, images, video, audio)

(b) Substantially modified by AI in ways that could deceive viewers about its origin

(c) A deep fake depicting a real person
2.2 Disclosure methods:

Use the “AI-Generated” label/toggle when uploading

Include clear disclosure in captions or descriptions

Tag content appropriately
2.3 Failure to disclose AI-generated content may result in:

Content removal

Account warnings
-
Suspension for repeated violations
3. Prohibited Ai-Generated Content #
The following AI-generated content is strictly prohibited:

4.1 Utsav World™ may:

Add disclosure to content we reasonably believe is AI-generated

Remove undisclosed AI content that could cause harm
4.2 If we incorrectly label your content, you may appeal.
5. Training and Transparency #
5.1 Utsav World™ may use AI-generated content to:

Train moderation systems

Improve platform features
-
Develop new tools
5.2 We will not:

Use your content to train third-party AI models without consent

Claim ownership of AI-generated content
Part C: Jurisdiction-Specific Addendums #
India Addendum #
IT Rules, 2021: Intermediaries must take down content that is “patently false and untrue” upon government order. AI-generated misinformation falls under this.
UK Addendum #
Online Safety Act: AI-generated CSAM is explicitly illegal. Deep fakes used for harassment may be illegal.
EU Addendum #
AI Act: High-risk AI systems have transparency obligations. Deep fakes must be labeled.
US Addendum #
No federal AI disclosure law yet, but:
