Part A: Plain English Summary #
What the Verified Badge Means #
The Verified Badge on Utsav Listings™ helps customers identify businesses that have completed our verification process. This document explains how verification works.
The Simple Truth #
-
Verification confirms identity: We’ve confirmed the business exists and the owner is who they say they are.
-
It’s NOT an endorsement: Verified doesn’t mean we recommend the business.
-
It’s NOT a quality guarantee: Verified businesses can still provide poor service.
-
Multiple verification levels: Different badges indicate different verification depth.
-
Badges can be lost: If a business no longer meets criteria, the badge is removed.
