Part A: Plain English Summary #

Agreement with Contest Sponsors #

This document is for external brands or companies that wish to sponsor or co-host contests on Utsav Contests™. It defines the relationship between MyMahotsav and the Sponsor.

The Simple Truth #

Sponsors Provide Prizes/Funding: Sponsors may fund prizes or provide promotional support.
MyMahotsav Administers the Contest: We run the contest, manage entries, and handle judging.
Sponsors Get Recognition: Sponsors are acknowledged in contest materials.
No Control Over Judging: Sponsors do not influence winner selection unless agreed.
Content Usage Rights: Sponsors may get licenses to use winning entries for promotion.

Part B: Legal Terms and Conditions #

1. DEFINITIONS #

1.1 “Sponsor” means the third-party company or organization co-hosting the Contest with MyMahotsav.

1.2 “Contest” means the specific contest described in the attached Schedule A.

1.3 “Prize” means the awards to be provided by Sponsor to Contest winners.

2.1 Sponsor agrees to:

Provide the Prize(s) as described in Schedule A
Fund any agreed-upon Contest costs
Provide brand assets (logo, description) for promotion
Designate a point of contact for Contest coordination
Comply with all applicable laws regarding prize provision

2.2 Prize Delivery: Sponsor is responsible for delivering Prizes to winners within [thirty (30)] days of winner confirmation, unless otherwise agreed.

2.3 Taxes: Sponsor is responsible for any tax reporting or withholding obligations related to the Prizes, unless otherwise agreed.

3. MYMAHOTSAV RESPONSIBILITIES #

3.1 MyMahotsav agrees to:

Administer the Contest in accordance with Utsav Contests™ Official Rules
Manage entry collection and judging
Select winners according to published criteria
Notify winners and coordinate Prize fulfillment
Promote the Contest and acknowledge Sponsor

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS #

4.1 Sponsor Materials: Sponsor grants MyMahotsav a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use Sponsor’s name, logo, and trademarks solely for Contest promotion.

4.2 Entrant Content: Sponsor acknowledges that entrants retain ownership of their content. Sponsor may receive a license to use winning entries as specified in Schedule A.

4.3 No Endorsement: Nothing in this Agreement implies that entrants or MyMahotsav endorse Sponsor’s products or services.

5.1 Jury Participation: If Sponsor wishes to participate in judging, this must be specified in Schedule A. Sponsor representatives serving as judges must comply with the Jury Member Code of Conduct (CT-16).

5.2 No Undue Influence: Sponsor agrees not to attempt to influence judging outcomes improperly.

5.3 Final Decisions: MyMahotsav retains final authority over winner selection.
