Your Agreement as a Utsav Jyotish™ Astrologer #

Welcome to Utsav Jyotish™! This document is your legal agreement with us when you join our platform as an astrologer.

The Simple Truth #

You’re an Independent Professional: You are not an employee of MyMahotsav. You control your practice, your prices, and your availability .
You Set Your Own Terms: You decide when you’re available, what services you offer, and how much you charge.
Ethics Matter: We have a strict Code of Conduct. Treat clients with respect, be honest, and don’t make false promises .
You’re Responsible for Your Advice: You’re accountable for what you tell clients. We provide the platform, but you’re the expert.
We Share Revenue: You earn a percentage of consultation fees; the rest covers platform costs.

Part B: Legal Terms and Conditions #

2. ELIGIBILITY AND APPLICATION #

2.1 To become an Astrologer on Utsav Jyotish™, you must:

Be at least 18 years of age
Have demonstrable knowledge and experience in astrology, numerology, palmistry, or related fields
Complete the application process, including providing accurate personal and professional information
Consent to verification procedures, which may include identity verification and credential checks

2.2 We reserve the right to accept or reject any application at our sole discretion.

3. INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR STATUS #

3.1 Astrologers are independent contractors, not employees, partners, or agents of MyMahotsav .

3.2 Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship.

3.3 Astrologers are solely responsible for:

Their own taxes, including income tax, GST/VAT, and any other applicable taxes
Their own business expenses, including internet, phone, and equipment
Maintaining their own professional liability insurance (recommended)

4. ASTROLOGER OBLIGATIONS #

4.1 By providing services on the Platform, Astrologers agree to :

Act with honesty, integrity, and respect toward all clients
Offer guidance based on astrological principles and their genuine expertise
Refrain from making false claims, predictions, or guarantees about outcomes
Not provide medical, financial, or legal advice
Maintain confidentiality of client information
Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

5. PROHIBITED CONDUCT #

5.1 Astrologers may NOT:

Guarantee specific outcomes (e.g., “I guarantee you will marry within 6 months”)
Claim supernatural powers or abilities beyond astrology
Prescribe or recommend any medical treatment
Harass, discriminate against, or exploit clients
Solicit clients off-platform for private arrangements (to avoid platform fees)
Use offensive, abusive, or inappropriate language
Share client information with third parties

6. FEES AND PAYMENTS #

6.1 Pricing: Astrologers set their own consultation rates, subject to Platform minimums and maximums.

6.2 Revenue Share: Astrologers earn [X]% of consultation fees collected through the Platform. The remaining [Y]% covers platform services, including payment processing, customer acquisition, and support.

6.3 Payout Schedule: Earnings are paid on a [weekly/monthly] basis, subject to minimum payout thresholds.

6.4 Refunds: If a refund is issued to a client (as provided in the Refund Policy), the corresponding earnings will be deducted from future payouts.
