Empower, Not Exploit: Help clients find their own path, don’t create dependency.

Part B: Code of Conduct Provisions #

1. CORE PRINCIPLES #

1.1 Astrologers on Utsav Jyotish™ must always act with:

Honesty: Providing truthful, accurate readings based on astrological principles
Integrity: Maintaining moral and ethical principles in all interactions
Respect: Treating all clients with dignity, regardless of background, beliefs, or circumstances

2. PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS #

2.1 Accurate Representation: Astrologers shall accurately represent their qualifications, experience, and areas of expertise. They shall not claim credentials they do not possess.

2.2 No False Claims: Astrologers shall refrain from making false claims, predictions, or guarantees about outcomes. Astrology is a tool for guidance, not for making absolute predictions .

2.3 Scope of Practice: Astrologers shall not:

Provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
Offer financial or investment advice
Provide legal counsel
Prescribe or recommend specific medical treatments
Claim to cure diseases or conditions

2.4 No Supernatural Claims: Astrologers shall not claim to possess supernatural powers, perform miracles, or guarantee results through occult means.

3. CLIENT RELATIONSHIP #

3.1 Respect and Dignity: All clients shall be treated with respect, without discrimination based on race, religion, caste, gender, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic .

3.2 Privacy and Confidentiality: Client information, including birth details and consultation content, shall be kept strictly confidential and never shared without explicit consent .

3.3 Informed Consent: Astrologers shall explain the nature of astrological guidance and its limitations to clients, ensuring clients understand that predictions are not guarantees.

3.4 Empowerment: Astrologers shall encourage clients to make their own decisions and take personal responsibility, rather than creating dependency on astrological guidance .

3.5 No Exploitation: Astrologers shall not exploit clients’ vulnerabilities, fears, or emotional states for financial gain.

4. PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES #

4.1 Appropriate Relationships: Astrologers shall maintain appropriate professional boundaries and not engage in romantic or sexual relationships with clients.

4.2 Conflicts of Interest: Astrologers shall disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could affect their objectivity.

4.3 Referrals: When a client’s needs fall outside the astrologer’s expertise or scope of practice, the astrologer should, where appropriate, refer the client to other qualified professionals.
