Part B: Legal Terms and Conditions #
1. Purpose and Scope #
1.1 This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all users of Utsav Appointments™, including Hosts, Invitees, and Visitors.
1.2 By using the Services, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your access to the Services.
2. Prohibited Conduct #
You may not use the Services to engage in, facilitate, or promote:

Fraud, scams, or deceptive practices

Human trafficking or exploitation
2.2 Harmful Conduct #

Harassment, bullying, or intimidation

Threats of violence

Hate speech based on race, religion, caste, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics

Stalking or unwanted contact

Defamation or libel
2.3 Misrepresentation #

Impersonating any person or entity

Falsely claiming affiliation with any person or entity

Providing false or misleading information

Creating fake accounts or using automated means to create accounts
2.4 Spam and Abuse #

Sending unsolicited commercial communications

Using Booking Links to send spam

Repeatedly booking meetings without intent to attend

Automated or bot-driven interactions
2.5 Intellectual Property Infringement #

Using the Services to infringe copyrights, trademarks, patents, or trade secrets

Uploading or sharing content you do not own or have permission to use

Using our brand or logos without permission
2.6 Data Privacy Violations #

Collecting or sharing personal information without consent

Recording meetings without required consents

Violating applicable data protection laws
2.7 Security Violations #

Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems

Interfering with the proper functioning of the Services

Circumventing security measures or access controls

Introducing malware, viruses, or harmful code
2.8 Commercial Exploitation (Without Authorization) #

Reselling the Services without permission

Using the Services to operate a competing scheduling platform

Scraping or data mining the Services
3. Content Standards #
3.1 Any content you submit to or through the Services (including profile information, custom questions, and meeting descriptions) must comply with this AUP.
3.2 Prohibited content includes:

Sexually explicit or pornographic material

Content depicting violence or exploitation

Content promoting illegal activities
-
Content that violates others’ rights
4. Reporting Violations #
4.1 If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to:

Include details such as: the nature of the violation, the Booking Link or account involved, and any evidence (screenshots, etc.)
4.2 We will investigate reported violations and take appropriate action, which may include:

Removing content

Warning the user
-
Suspending or terminating accounts

Reporting to law enforcement
5. Enforcement #
5.1 We reserve the right to investigate any suspected violation of this AUP and to take any action we deem appropriate.
5.2 We may also report any suspected illegal activity to law enforcement authorities and cooperate in their investigations, including by disclosing relevant information.
5.3 Our failure to enforce any provision of this AUP does not waive our right to do so later.
Part C: Jurisdiction-Specific Addendums #
India Addendum #
IT Rules, 2021: This AUP implements the due diligence requirements for intermediaries under the Information Technology Rules, 2021. Prohibited content includes information that is “patently false and untrue,” “misleading,” or “harassing.”
UK/EU Addendum #
Online Safety Act: This AUP addresses illegal content and activities as required under the UK Online Safety Act.
US Addendum #
Section 230: This AUP does not waive any protections available under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act.
