Who Can Enter and How We Verify Winners #
This policy explains the rules about who is eligible to enter our contests and how we verify the identity and eligibility of winners.
The Simple Truth #

Age Matters: Most contests require you to be 18+. For minors, a parent must consent.

Location Restrictions: Some contests are only open to residents of certain countries.

No Conflicts of Interest: Employees of MyMahotsav and Sponsors can’t enter.

We Verify Winners: Before awarding prizes, we confirm that winners meet all eligibility requirements.

Be Honest: Providing false information will get you disqualified.
Part B: Legal Terms and Conditions #
1. AGE ELIGIBILITY #
1.1 General Rule: Unless otherwise specified in a Contest announcement, Entrants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry .
1.2 Minors (13-17) : Entrants aged 13 to 17 may participate only if:

A parent or legal guardian provides consent

The parent/guardian agrees to be bound by these Official Rules

The parent/guardian accepts responsibility for the minor’s participation

The Contest announcement does not specifically exclude minors
1.3 Under 13: Children under 13 are not permitted to enter contests without verifiable parental consent in compliance with applicable laws (COPPA in the US, DPDPA in India). Some contests may be restricted to ages 18+ only.
2. GEOGRAPHIC ELIGIBILITY #
2.1 Each Contest announcement will specify eligible countries or regions. Contests may be:

Global (worldwide, except where prohibited)

Regional (e.g., Asia, Europe, North America)

Country-specific (e.g., India only, UK only)
2.2 Void where prohibited by law. Residents of countries subject to comprehensive sanctions are not eligible .
2.3 Entrants are responsible for ensuring their participation is lawful in their jurisdiction.
3. AFFILIATE AND EMPLOYEE INELIGIBILITY #
3.1 The following individuals are NOT eligible to enter any Contest:

| MyMahotsav Employees | Current employees, officers, and directors of MyMahotsav Futuretech Ltd and its affiliates |
| Sponsor Employees | Current employees, officers, and directors of any Contest Sponsor |
| Immediate Family | Spouses, parents, siblings, children, and their spouses of ineligible employees, regardless of where they reside |
| Household Members | Persons residing in the same household as ineligible employees, whether related or not |
| Contest Personnel | Individuals involved in the administration, judging, or fulfillment of the Contest |
4. VERIFICATION PROCESS #
4.1 Pre-Verification: MyMahotsav may verify eligibility at any time during the Contest.
4.2 Winner Verification: Potential winners must complete verification before receiving prizes.
4.3 Verification Requirements:

Government-issued ID (for age and identity verification)

Proof of residency (utility bill, bank statement)

Affidavit of Eligibility (for winners)

Parental consent form (for minors)

Any other documentation reasonably requested
4.4 Timeline: Winners must submit verification documents within [seven (7)] days of request .
4.5 Failure to Verify: If a potential winner:

Fails to respond to verification requests

Fails to provide required documentation

Is found to be ineligible
-
Declines the prize
Then the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected .
5. DISQUALIFICATION #
5.1 Entrants may be disqualified for:

Providing false or misleading information

Failing to meet eligibility requirements

Violating any Contest rules
-
Tampering with the entry process

Engaging in fraudulent activity
6. IDENTITY DISPUTES #
6.1 If the identity of an Entrant is disputed, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address used at the time of entry .
6.2 “Authorized account holder” means the person assigned to the email address by the internet service provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses.
