Additional Rules for Video Contests #
These terms supplement the general Contest rules for video contests. If you’re entering a video contest, these additional rules apply.
The Simple Truth #

Length Matters: Videos must meet the specified duration (usually 1-5 minutes).

Music Rights Are Critical: You need permission for any music you use.

Clear Audio: Viewers should be able to hear dialogue and narration.

Captions Recommended: Helps accessibility and judging.

Original Content: Your video should be your own creation.
Part B: Video Contest-Specific Terms #
1. VIDEO REQUIREMENTS #
1.1 Duration:

Minimum length: [60] seconds

1.2 Format and Quality:

File format: MP4 (H.264 codec) preferred

2. CONTENT REQUIREMENTS #
2.1 Originality: Videos must be original works created by Entrant. Stock footage and third-party clips may be used only with appropriate licenses and attribution.
2.2 Music Rights:

Use only music you own, music licensed for contest use, or royalty-free music

Provide attribution for music as required

No unauthorized use of copyrighted music
2.3 Language: Videos may be in any language, but if not in English, subtitles or an English translation must be provided.
3. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS #
3.1 File Naming: YourName_VideoTitle_ContestName.mp4
3.2 Submission Method: Videos must be uploaded directly to the Contest platform. External links (YouTube, Vimeo) may be accepted but direct upload is preferred.
3.3 Captions/Subtitles:

4. RELEASES AND PERMISSIONS #
4.1 Model Releases: Required for all recognizable individuals .
4.2 Location Releases: Required for private property.
4.3 Music Licenses: Documentation of music rights may be requested.
