When you donate to a UTSAV DAAN™ Campaign, your money goes into a special protected account—separate from company funds. This policy explains exactly what happens to your money from the moment you donate until it reaches the beneficiary.
The Simple Truth #

Your money is protected: All donations sit in a segregated Escrow Account. We never mix Campaign funds with our operating money.

1. DEFINITIONS #
For purposes of this Policy:

| Gross Proceeds | Total amount of Contributions received for a Campaign, before any deductions |
| Net Proceeds | Gross Proceeds minus Platform Fees, Payment Processing Fees, Transfer Fees, and applicable taxes |
| Holding Period | The duration during which funds remain in Escrow Account before disbursement |
| Disbursement Date | The date on which Net Proceeds are transferred to Beneficiary |
| Payment Gateway | Third-party service providers that process electronic payments |
| Settlement Cycle | The time taken by Payment Gateways to transfer funds to Escrow Account (typically T+2 to T+5 days) |
| Failed Transaction | A Contribution attempted but not successfully completed due to payment failure, chargeback, or reversal |
| Unclaimed Funds | Net Proceeds that cannot be disbursed due to Beneficiary unavailability, incorrect bank details, or refusal to accept |

2.2 Escrow Account Structure #
2.2.1 UTSAV DAAN™ maintains Escrow Accounts in key currencies and jurisdictions:

3. RECEIPT OF DONATIONS #

3.2 Transaction Confirmation #
3.2.1 Upon successful Contribution, Contributors receive:

3.2.2 Failed transactions receive notification with reason and resolution steps.
3.3 Pending and Failed Transactions #
3.3.1 Contributions showing as “pending” in Contributor’s account are not considered received until:

Funds settle in Escrow Account; AND

Transaction status confirmed by Payment Gateway
3.3.2 Failed transactions are automatically reversed. No funds are held for failed transactions.
4. HOLDING PERIOD AND FUNDS MANAGEMENT #
4.1 Holding Period Duration #
Funds remain in Escrow Account during:

5. DISBURSEMENT PROCESS #
5.1 Pre-Disbursement Verification #
Before any disbursement, UTSAV DAAN™ conducts:
