Buying and Selling Pre-Packaged Services #

The Task Marketplace allows freelancers to list predefined services at fixed prices. Think of it like a store where freelancers showcase what they can deliver, and clients can purchase instantly.

The Simple Truth #

No Bidding Required: Tasks are purchased immediately, like buying a product. No negotiation, no waiting .
Package Tiers: Freelancers can offer Bronze, Silver, and Gold packages with different features and prices .
Fixed Deliverables: What you see is what you get—the service description defines exactly what will be delivered .
Quick Turnaround: Tasks typically have shorter delivery times than custom projects .
Automatic Payment Release: Payment is released to the freelancer when you confirm delivery (or automatically after a review period) .

Part B: Legal Terms and Conditions #

1. TASK MARKETPLACE OVERVIEW #

1.1 The Task Marketplace allows Freelancers to list pre-defined services (“Tasks”) at fixed prices. Clients may purchase these Tasks directly without a bidding process .

1.2 Tasks are governed by these Terms in addition to the general Platform Terms and applicable Freelancer or Client Terms.

2. FREELANCER TASK LISTINGS #

2.1 Listing Requirements: When creating a Task Listing, Freelancers must provide :

Title	Clear, descriptive name of the service
Description	Detailed explanation of what will be delivered
Package Tiers	Bronze, Silver, Gold options with varying features
Pricing	Fixed price for each tier
Delivery Time	Expected turnaround time
Revisions	Number of revisions included
Requirements	Information needed from Client to begin

2.2 Package Tiers: Freelancers may offer up to three packages:

Tier	Typical Features
Bronze	Basic service, standard delivery, limited revisions
Silver	Enhanced service, faster delivery, more revisions
Gold	Premium service, express delivery, unlimited revisions, extras

2.3 Accuracy: Freelancers represent that all Task information is accurate. Listings that materially misrepresent services may be removed .

3. PURCHASING TASKS #

3.1 Order Process:

Client selects Task and package tier
Client provides required information (as specified by Freelancer)
Client completes payment (full amount goes into escrow)
Order is confirmed and Freelancer is notified to begin work

3.2 Binding Order: Upon payment confirmation, a binding Service Contract is formed directly between Client and Freelancer for the described Task .

3.3 No Cancellation After Order: Once an order is placed and payment is processed, Clients may not cancel except as provided in the Escrow Policy (UW-5).

4. TASK DELIVERY AND COMPLETION #

4.1 Delivery Timeline: Freelancer must deliver the completed Task within the specified delivery time, starting from the date of order confirmation .

4.2 Submission: Upon completion, Freelancer submits deliverables through the Platform.

4.3 Review Period: Client has [3] days to review deliverables and either :

Accept delivery (approve)
Request revisions (within the included revision limit)
Reject with explanation

4.4 Automatic Acceptance: If Client takes no action within the review period, delivery is deemed accepted and payment is released to Freelancer .

4.5 Revisions: If revisions are requested within the included limit, Freelancer must promptly address feedback. Additional revisions may be offered as paid extras.

5. EXTRAS AND CUSTOM OFFERS #

5.1 Extras: Freelancers may offer optional extras (e.g., faster delivery, additional features) for additional fees.

5.2 Custom Offers: Freelancers may send custom offers to Clients for services not listed in their Task catalog. Custom offers are subject to the same terms as Tasks.

6. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS #

6.1 Client-Initiated Cancellation:

Before delivery: Full refund minus any work already completed (if any)
After delivery but before acceptance: Discretionary, subject to Freelancer agreement
After acceptance: No refunds

6.2 Freelancer-Initiated Cancellation: If Freelancer cannot complete the Task, they must cancel immediately. Client receives full refund, and Freelancer’s completion rate may be affected.

6.3 Automatic Cancellation: If Freelancer fails to deliver within the specified timeline and does not respond to Client inquiries, the order may be automatically cancelled with full refund to Client.
