Part A: Plain English Summary #

What You Agree to When You Enroll in a Course #

When you enroll in a course on GyanVapy Courses™, you’re entering into a specific agreement about your access, rights, and responsibilities. These terms work together with our main Terms of Use.

The Simple Truth #

  • You’re Buying Access, Not Ownership: Enrollment gives you a license to view the course content for personal use—you don’t own the content itself.

  • Lifetime Access (With Limits): You get lifetime access as long as the course remains on our platform. If we must remove a course for legal reasons, access may end.

  • No Sharing: Your enrollment is personal to you. Don’t share your login or download and redistribute content.

  • Free Courses Count Too: Even free courses are subject to these terms.

  • Instructors Set Some Rules: Individual instructors may have additional requirements for their courses (like assignment deadlines).

1. Enrollment and Access #

1.1 Enrollment Confirmation: When you complete enrollment in a course, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the course content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

1.2 Access Duration: Unless otherwise specified, you receive “lifetime access” to courses you’ve enrolled in. “Lifetime” means for as long as the course remains available on GyanVapy Courses™.

1.3 Course Removal: If we must remove a course due to:

  • Instructor request

  • Policy violations

  • Legal requirements (copyright claims, etc.)

  • Technical issues

Your access may be terminated. In such cases, refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis, but are not guaranteed.

1.4 Free Courses: Free courses are subject to the same terms as paid courses. We may limit, modify, or remove free courses at any time without notice.

2. Permitted and Prohibited Uses #

2.1 Permitted Uses:

  • Streaming course content for personal learning

  • Downloading materials where explicitly enabled for offline access

  • Completing assignments and quizzes

  • Participating in course discussions

  • Sharing your enrollment confirmation (not access)

2.2 Prohibited Uses:

  • Sharing login credentials with others

  • Downloading and redistributing course content

  • Selling course materials or access

  • Creating derivative works without permission

  • Using content for commercial purposes

  • Bypassing technical protection measures

3. Course Requirements #

3.1 Instructor Requirements: Individual courses may have specific requirements such as:

  • Completing assignments within deadlines

  • Participating in discussions

  • Passing quizzes with minimum scores

  • Obtaining certain grades for certificates

3.2 Your Responsibility: You are responsible for understanding and meeting course requirements. Failure to do so may affect your ability to receive a certificate.

3.3 Course Changes: Instructors may update course content, modify requirements, or discontinue courses. We will attempt to notify you of significant changes.

4. Communication and Community #

4.1 Course Discussions: Many courses include discussion forums. By participating, you agree to:

  • Be respectful of instructors and fellow students

  • Not post inappropriate or offensive content

  • Not use discussions for commercial purposes

  • Not share assignment answers in public forums

4.2 Instructor Communication: Instructors may contact enrolled students with course-related updates. You may adjust notification preferences in account settings.

5. Assignment and Assessment Integrity #

5.1 Your Work: For courses with assignments, you agree to submit your own work. Plagiarism, cheating, or using others’ work without attribution may result in:

  • Loss of credit for the assignment

  • Removal from the course

  • Revocation of any certificate issued

  • Account restrictions

5.2 Automated Assessment: Some quizzes and assessments may be automatically graded. These systems may occasionally make errors—contact support if you believe a grade is incorrect.

5.3 Instructor Grading: For manually graded assignments, instructors have sole discretion over grades, subject to any stated rubrics.

6. Course Feedback and Reviews #

6.1 You may leave reviews for courses you have completed.

6.2 Reviews must:

  • Be based on actual experience with the course

  • Focus on educational content and quality

  • Be respectful and constructive

  • Not contain profanity, harassment, or discrimination

6.3 We may remove reviews that violate these standards.

7. Technical Requirements #

7.1 System Requirements: You are responsible for ensuring your devices and internet connection meet the technical requirements for accessing course content.

7.2 Third-Party Tools: Some courses may use third-party tools (like video platforms, quiz engines). Your use of these tools is subject to their terms and privacy policies.

8. Termination of Access #

8.1 We may terminate your access to specific courses or the entire platform if you violate these Terms.

8.2 Upon termination:

  • Your access to courses ceases immediately

  • Any certificates already earned remain valid

  • No refunds will be issued for terminations due to violations
