Posting Volunteer Opportunities on Utsav Volunteers™ #
This document explains the specific terms that apply when organizations post volunteer positions through our platform. We want to ensure that all opportunities are accurately represented and that volunteers can find meaningful ways to contribute.
The Simple Truth #

You Are Responsible for Your Postings: All information you provide in job postings must be accurate, complete, and not misleading .

No Employment Relationship: Volunteers are not your employees. You are not required to pay wages or provide benefits, but you are responsible for their safety and appropriate supervision.

Comply with Laws: Your volunteer opportunities must comply with all applicable laws, including anti-discrimination regulations and labor laws.

Paid Listings May Apply: Some job postings may require payment through subscription packages or featured Listing fees.

We Can Remove Listings: We reserve the right to reject or remove any job posting that violates our policies or applicable law .
Part B: Job Posting Terms #
1. ELIGIBILITY TO POST #
1.1 To post volunteer opportunities, Organizations must:

Have a valid Utsav Volunteers™ account in good standing

Provide accurate organization information (name, contact details, description)

Have the legal authority to seek volunteers for the described activities
1.2 Organizations may not post opportunities for:

Paid employment positions (use Utsav Works™ instead)

Illegal activities
-
Opportunities that discriminate against protected classes
-
Positions requiring financial investment from volunteers
-
Multi-level marketing or pyramid schemes
2. POSTING REQUIREMENTS #
2.1 Required Information: Each Job Posting must include :

| Organization Name | Legal or operating name of the organization |
2.2 Accuracy: Organizations represent and warrant that all information in Job Postings is accurate, complete, and not misleading. This includes descriptions of activities, time commitments, and any benefits offered.
2.3 Prohibited Content: Job Postings may not contain :

False or misleading information

Discriminatory requirements (unless legally permitted)

Offensive, harassing, or inappropriate language

Content promoting illegal activities

Unauthorized use of third-party intellectual property
3. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND FEES #
3.1 Paid Listings: Some Job Postings may require payment through subscription packages or per-posting fees, as described on the Platform.
3.2 Featured Listings: Organizations may purchase featured placement for increased visibility. Featured status will be clearly indicated.
3.3 Subscription Terms: Subscription packages are subject to the following:

Fees are non-refundable except as expressly provided

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled

Organizations may cancel at any time through their dashboard

Upon cancellation, listings will remain active until the end of the paid period
3.4 Payment Processing: All payments are processed through our third-party payment partners. We do not store full payment details.
4. POSTING DURATION AND EXPIRATION #
4.1 Standard Duration: Job Postings remain active for the duration specified at the time of posting (typically 30, 60, or 90 days).
4.2 Expiration: After expiration, listings are automatically removed from public view. Organizations may repost opportunities as needed.
4.3 Renewal: For paid listings, organizations may renew expired postings subject to applicable fees.
5. ORGANIZATION OBLIGATIONS #
5.1 Application Review: Organizations agree to review applications in a timely manner and respond to applicants.
5.2 Communication: All communications with applicants should be professional and respectful.
5.3 Volunteer Management: Organizations are solely responsible for:

Onboarding and training volunteers

Providing appropriate supervision

Ensuring volunteer safety
-
Complying with all applicable laws

Maintaining appropriate insurance coverage
5.4 Record Keeping: Organizations should maintain their own records of volunteers, applications, and communications.
6. MODERATION AND ENFORCEMENT #
6.1 Right to Review: We reserve the right to review any Job Posting before publication.
6.2 Rejection and Removal: We may reject or remove any Job Posting that :

Violates these Terms

Contains prohibited content
-
Is determined to be inaccurate or misleading

Is submitted by a suspended or terminated account
6.3 Appeals: Organizations may appeal rejection or removal by contacting support@utsavvolunteers.com.
7. DISCLAIMER #
7.1 No Verification: We do not verify the accuracy or completeness of any Job Posting. Organizations are solely responsible for their content .
7.2 No Endorsement: Posting on Utsav Volunteers™ does not constitute our endorsement of any organization or opportunity.
7.3 No Liability: We are not liable for any claims arising from or related to Job Postings, including any volunteer arrangements formed as a result.
