Your temple or business Listing can have an associated Utsav World™ community group. This creates a space for devotees, customers, or supporters to connect, share, and engage.
The Simple Truth #

Build community: Groups let you interact with your audience beyond just a Listing.

You control the group: As the Listing owner, you can manage the associated group.

Group rules apply: Utsav World™ Community Guidelines govern group behavior.

Cross-promotion: Group activity may appear on your Listing.

You’re responsible for moderation: Keep your group respectful and on-topic.
Part B: Legal Terms and Conditions #
1. Group Integration Overview #
1.1 Verified Listing Owners may create or claim an associated Utsav World™ group.
1.2 The group will be linked to the Listing, visible on both the Listing page and in Utsav World™.
2. Group Ownership #
2.1 When a Listing is claimed, the Listing Owner may:

Create a new group for the Listing

Claim an existing group related to the Listing

Designate group admins
2.2 Group ownership follows Listing ownership. If Listing ownership transfers, group admin rights may transfer.
3. Group Purpose #
3.1 Listing-associated groups should relate to the Listing’s purpose:

Temples: Devotee discussions, event announcements, spiritual topics

Businesses: Customer support, product updates, community engagement

NGOs: Volunteer coordination, impact stories, donor updates
3.2 Groups should not be used for:

Harassment
-
Spam
-
Unrelated commercial activity

Illegal purposes
4. Moderation Responsibility #
4.1 Listing Owners are responsible for moderating their associated groups.
4.2 Responsibilities include:

Enforcing Utsav World™ Community Guidelines

Removing inappropriate content

Responding to member reports
-
Maintaining respectful discourse
4.3 Failure to moderate may result in:

5.1 Group content is subject to Utsav World™ Terms and Community Guidelines.
5.2 The Listing Owner does not own member content but may remove it from the group.
5.3 Content posted in groups may appear on the Listing page.
6. Member Conduct #
6.1 Group members must follow:

Utsav World™ Community Guidelines

Group-specific rules (if any)

Applicable laws
6.2 Members may be removed by group admins for violations.
7. Disclaimers #
7.1 Utsav World™ groups are separate from listings. Group content does not necessarily reflect the views of the Listing owner (except when posted by the owner).
7.2 We are not responsible for:

Member conduct in groups

Content posted by members

Disputes between members
8. Termination of Integration #
8.1 The group-Listing link may be terminated if:

Listing is removed
-
Listing ownership changes (and new owner discontinues)

Group consistently violates guidelines

Upon owner request

India Addendum #
IT Rules, 2021: Group admins have certain responsibilities under intermediary guidelines. Listing owners acting as group admins should be aware.
