Part A: Plain English Summary #

What You Can’t List on Our Directories #

To keep our directories useful, safe, and respectful, we have rules about what can and cannot be listed. This document explains the types of content and businesses that are not allowed.

The Simple Truth #

No illegal stuff: If it’s illegal in the real world, it’s illegal here.
No hate or discrimination: We don’t allow listings that attack people based on who they are.
No fake or misleading information: Be honest about who you are and what you do.
No adult content: Our platforms are family-friendly.
No intellectual property theft: Don’t use others’ photos, logos, or content without permission.
We can remove anything: Even if it’s not specifically listed, we reserve the right to remove anything we deem inappropriate.

Part B: Legal Terms and Conditions #

1. Prohibited Business and Entity Types #

The following types of businesses or organizations may NOT be listed on Utsav Mandirs™ or Utsav Listings™:

Illegal Activities	Businesses engaged in illegal operations
Adult Content	Adult entertainment, escort services, pornography
Weapons	Illegal weapons dealers, unlicensed firearm sales
Drugs	Illegal drug sales, paraphernalia
Gambling	Unlicensed gambling operations, betting
Counterfeit Goods	Sellers of fake or pirated products
Hate Groups	Organizations promoting hatred or discrimination
Scams	Pyramid schemes, get-rich-quick schemes
Unlicensed Services	Services requiring licenses without holding them

2. Prohibited Content in Listings #

All Listings must NOT contain :

2.1 Offensive Content #

Hate speech based on race, religion, caste, gender, sexual orientation, disability
Discriminatory statements
Obscene, profane, or vulgar language
Harassing or threatening content

2.2 False or Misleading Content #

Fraudulent claims about credentials or qualifications
Misleading business descriptions
Fake reviews or testimonials
Impersonation of another entity
False advertising claims

2.3 Intellectual Property Violations #

Copyrighted text, images, or media without permission
Trademark misuse (using others’ logos without authorization)
Trade secret disclosure

2.4 Sensitive Content #

Sexually explicit material
Graphic violence
Animal cruelty
Content exploiting children

2.5 Religious Sensitivity (Utsav Mandirs™ Specific) #

Content insulting any religion or faith
Claims of religious exclusivity that denigrate others
Misrepresentation of religious texts or practices
Unauthorized use of sacred symbols

3. Prohibited Conduct #

3.1 Users may NOT:

Submit listings for entities they have no connection to
Create multiple listings for the same entity
Use listings to spam or harass users
Manipulate search rankings artificially
Scrape or copy listings for unauthorized use
Use automated tools to submit bulk listings without permission

4. Accuracy Requirements #

4.1 All Listing information must be:

Factually accurate
Not misleading
Current and up-to-date

4.2 Specifically:

Address must be the actual physical location
Phone numbers must be reachable
Hours of operation must be current
Services offered must actually be provided

5. Temple-Specific Guidelines (Utsav Mandirs™) #

5.1 Temple listings must:

Be for actual physical temples (not virtual only)
Include accurate location information
Not promote hatred against other faiths
Respect all religious sentiments

5.2 Temple listings may NOT:

Claim exclusivity as “only true path” (if denigrating others)
Solicit donations through misleading claims
Impersonate another temple

6. Priest/Purohit-Specific Guidelines (Utsav Mandirs™) #

6.1 Priest listings must:

Be for actual individuals offering services
Accurately represent qualifications and experience
Not guarantee specific outcomes (marriage, etc.)

6.2 Priest listings may NOT:

Claim credentials they don’t possess
Guarantee supernatural results
Exploit vulnerable individuals

7. Business-Specific Guidelines (Utsav Listings™) #

7.1 Business listings must:

Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Maintain required licenses and approvals
Not engage in deceptive practices

7.2 Business listings should:

Clearly describe products or services offered
Disclose pricing where appropriate
Not make false or unsubstantiated claims

8. NGO/Charity-Specific Guidelines (Utsav Listings™) #

8.1 NGO listings must:

Be registered entities (where applicable)
Not use listings for political campaigning (where prohibited)
Accurately represent their mission and activities

8.2 NGO listings may NOT:

Solicit funds for unauthorized purposes
Mislead about use of donations
Impersonate government agencies

9. Enforcement #

9.1 Violations of these Guidelines may result in :

Violation Severity	Action
