Part A: Plain English Summary #
What This Policy Covers #
These guidelines explain how you get credit for content you create on Utsav World™, and how you must credit others when you use or share their content.
The Short Version #

You keep ownership: When you post content, you still own it. We just need a license to show it.

You get credit: We will display your name/username with your content by default.

You can waive credit: If you want to post anonymously or under a community account, you can choose this in settings.

Credit others: If you share someone else’s content or use it in your own work, you MUST credit them clearly.

No false endorsement: Don’t suggest someone sponsors or endorses you if they don’t.
Part B: Legal Terms and Conditions #
1. Definitions #

| Content | All text, images, audio, video, data, metadata, and other materials submitted to the Platform |
| Creator | The individual or entity that originally authored or owns rights in the Content |
| Derivative Work | Content that is based on, incorporates, modifies, or adapts pre-existing Content |
| Moral Rights | Rights of attribution and integrity as defined under applicable copyright laws and international treaties |
| Platform | Utsav World™ and all associated subdomains, applications, and services operated by MyMahotsav Futuretech Ltd |
2. Attribution Rights and Default Rules #
2.1 By submitting Content to the Platform, Creators retain their Moral Rights of attribution.
2.2 Utsav World™ shall make commercially reasonable efforts to display the Creator’s chosen attribution name in connection with their Content, including:

Adjacent to the Content on detail/view pages

In search results where technically feasible
-
In embedded or shared versions of the Content
2.3 The Creator may modify their attribution preferences at any time via Account Settings. Changes apply prospectively only.
2.4 Utsav World™ reserves the right to withhold or remove attribution where:

The Creator has violated Platform policies and attribution is removed as a consequence
-
Technical limitations prevent reasonable display
-
Content is used in contexts where attribution is impractical (e.g., thumbnails, API responses, certain algorithmic recommendations)
-
Required by law or valid legal process
3. Third-Party Attribution Obligations #
3.1 Any User who shares, republishes, embeds, or creates Derivative Works from another Creator’s Content MUST:

(a) Preserve all existing copyright notices and attribution metadata

(b) Display clear, conspicuous credit to the original Creator
-
(c) Include a link to the original Content URL where technically feasible
-
(d) Not alter or remove attribution information through technological means
3.2 Failure to provide proper attribution constitutes a violation of these Guidelines and may result in:

Removal of infringing Content
-
Suspension of sharing/republishing privileges
-
Account suspension or termination for repeated violations
-
Legal action for copyright infringement and/or Moral Rights violation
4. Collective Works and Curated Content #
4.1 Users creating collections, playlists, galleries, or other aggregated works must provide attribution for each distinct work included.
4.2 Attribution may be provided through:

Individual credits adjacent to each work
-
A centralized credit list accessible within the collection
-
Machine-readable metadata where technical standards exist
4.3 “No-attribution” requests from original Creators must be honored and override standard attribution requirements.
5. False Attribution and Impersonation #
5.1 Users are strictly prohibited from:

Falsely attributing Content to another person or entity
-
Implying endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation where none exists
-
Using misleading attribution to deceive Users as to the origin of Content
5.2 Violations will result in immediate Content removal and account review for termination.
6. Platform Attribution Rights #
6.1 Utsav World™ may display the following attribution information in connection with Platform operations:

“Powered by Utsav World™” or similar branding on hosted Content

Platform attribution in shared links and embeds
-
Automated credits in algorithmically distributed Content
6.2 This attribution does not imply endorsement by Utsav World™ of Creator Content.
7. Reporting and Enforcement #
7.1 Users may report missing or incorrect attribution through:

The “Report” function on any Content

7.2 Utsav World™ shall review reports within 5 business days and take appropriate action.
Part C: Jurisdiction-Specific Addendums #
India Addendum #
Under the Copyright Act, 1957, Section 57 provides independent Moral Rights that:

Exist separately from economic rights

Are not transferable

Survive the assignment of copyright

Include the right to claim authorship and restrain distortion
UK Addendum #
Under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, the right of attribution:

Does not apply to computer programs
EU Addendum #
Under the Berne Convention and national implementations:

Moral Rights are independent of economic rights
