1. Scope and Application #

1.1 This Code of Conduct applies to all interactions on Utsav World™, including:

  • Posts and comments

  • Private messages (via Utsav Messenger™)

  • Group discussions

  • Live streams

  • Profile content

  • Any other user interaction

1.2 By using Utsav World™, you agree to follow this Code.

2. Expected Behaviors #

2.1 Respectful Communication:

  • Listen to others’ perspectives

  • Use respectful language

  • Avoid personal attacks

  • Acknowledge when you’re wrong

2.2 Constructive Contribution:

  • Add value to discussions

  • Share knowledge and experience

  • Ask questions respectfully

  • Provide helpful feedback

2.3 Community Support:

  • Help new members feel welcome

  • Report violations to moderators

  • Support those experiencing harassment

  • Share cultural knowledge generously

2.4 Privacy Respect:

  • Don’t share others’ private information

  • Respect confidentiality in private groups

  • Ask permission before sharing conversations

3. Unacceptable Behaviors #

3.1 Harassment:

  • Targeted insults or attacks

  • Repeated unwanted contact

  • Stalking or following across the platform

  • Encouraging others to harass

3.2 Discrimination:

  • Hate speech based on protected characteristics

  • Excluding or targeting individuals

  • Promoting discriminatory ideologies

3.3 Intimidation:

  • Threats of violence

  • Creating hostile environments

  • Intimidating language or imagery

3.4 Disruption:

  • Trolling (deliberately provoking)

  • Spamming

  • Derailing conversations

  • Brigading (coordinated attacks)

5. Consequences of Violations #

5.1 Depending on severity and frequency, consequences may include:

5.2 Severe violations (threats, hate speech, harassment) may result in immediate suspension without warning.

6. Reporting Violations #

6.1 To report a Code of Conduct violation:

  • Use the “Report” button on content or profiles

  • Contact group admins (for group-specific issues)

  • Email conduct@utsavworld.com

  • Contact Grievance Officer (India users)

6.2 When reporting, include:

  • URL or location of violation

  • Description of what happened

  • Dates and times

  • Any supporting evidence

7. Appeals #

7.1 If you believe action was taken against you in error, you may appeal:

  • Through the notification you received

  • To appeals@utsavworld.com

7.2 Appeals will be reviewed by human moderators within 7 days.

8. Community Moderation #

8.1 Group admins and moderators may enforce this Code within their communities.

8.2 Platform moderators may override community moderation decisions.

8.3 Utsav World™ provides training and support for community moderators.

India Addendum #
